Brother Ayyaz,
The Deobandis are the cousins of Wahhabis/Najdis. They cleverly disguise their Wahhabi beliefs under the cloak of Sunnism, by calling themselves Hanafis and Sufis.

In terms of Aqeeda, they admire the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) only to a certain extent. Their books are filled with statements disrespecting Nabi (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam). They also prohibit the celebration of Mawlid and their elders view it as similar to the celebration of Hindu idols.

the difference between Wahabis and deobandi is that while deobandis follow the madhab [schools of thought and 4 sufi tariqas, atleast that's what they say actually there are types of deobandis, one more closer to sunni while the other is more closer to salafis] the wahabis don't, ahle hadith is another name for wahabis they also deny the belief in fiqa
woh jo na the to kuch bhi na that, woh jo na ho toh kuch bhi na ho, jaan hai woh jahaan ki, jaan hai toh jahaan hai.. for authentic sunni books please email me on: ksumra@hotmail.com

Assalamualaikum Brothers and Sisters of Imaan and Islam,

Brother Umer - I think you are starting to change this thread to one about the permissability of Milaad Sharif!  I think you should refer to the following links:

http://www.islam786....miladannabi.htm

You seem to be confused on the status of Milaad Sharif - The Blessed Prophet of all Prophets, The Kind of all Prophets, The Noor of the Universe, The Reason for our Creation, The Master of Medina Sharif, The Beloved of Allah SWT, The Reason for our Creation, Hazrat Muhammad himself celebrated His own Blessed Birth and here you say that it is an innovation to do so?

I hope the links above and the aforementioned fact allows you to correct and strengthen your aqidah and allo you to the Love the Greatest of Mankind as much as you can with all your heart and the n you will be on the path to salvation and success.

Wassalam,

Shahban

it is simple, they are wahabis like the rest

as someone said above and as was Ala Hazrat's statement:

Ahl-e-Hadith ghair muqallid wahabi hein aur yei muqallad wahabi hein.

Ahl-e-hadith dont follow one of the four Imams of Fiqh whereas deobandis supposedly do taqleed of Imam Azam Abu Hanifah . But the 'aqaid are the same.

-both ghustakhs, both wahabis.

The speech "Hidayat ya Gumrahi"  available here

by Hazrat Allama Abdul Sattar Hamdani Damatbarkatahumul Aliya give us a good understanding where the difference between Ahlesunnat  and the newly borned (deviated) sects lie.
