I would like to believe the moon-landing(since it's great feat for humanity) but considering the truth-record of US, it's extremelly difficult to distingish between propaganda and truth. The moon landing was fake and done to tip off the russians against a attack.

If it was faked why haven't the USA faked it since 1976? More importantly, why didn't the USSR fake it immediately afterwards since both sides were desperate to outdo each other. Denying the moon landings is just one conspiracy theory too far. Sure, there are a few loons who deny it but why Muslims have to jump onto the bandwagon I don't know!
I met one maulvi sahib, Sunni Barelvi freshie who insisted it was impossible because the Moon is in the first heaven!! At least he was being consistent with his cosmology and learning so is blameless but educated people with a Modern education denying it is just plain silly.

There have been six moon landings and the reason none since the 70s is largely due to the political will, or lack of (since
the only reason to do it was to get one up on the Soviets and once it was done there was no other reason for it. The main goal
was always political not scientific. The other is the cost.

This a hoax and something he completely denied repeatedly ! I wish our people would stop making such things up as Islam doesn't need such cheap stunts to get converts -- alhamdulillah

BTW, if the moon landings are a fake how did he hear the azaan on the moon! Secondly, there is a near total vacuum in space and on the moon which has no atmosphere
and sound waves don't travel in a vacuum. In other words, you cannot HEAR anything in space!! I wish people would study at least basic physics.)

No! Man, it's like smacking ones head against a brick wall! This Sibel dude is a notorious crank (see the wiki links in my last post) and armstrongs refusal to swear on the bible doesn't mean he was therefore a Muslim. Please read the above link where he clearly states he is not.

His refusal to take oath on Bible doesn't prove him a Muslim. He doesn't want to please this extremist-Christian who's underestimating his scientific and historical achievement by restricting it to the oath.
