Our Holy Prophet said,

"When a person enters hs bed (to sleep) an angel and devil surround him. The devil whispers, 'Your awakeneing will end in evil' and the angel says, 'ends in good.' But if one sleeps after engaging in rememebrance the angels will protect him through the night."

The Holy Prophet never lied on his blessed stomach and if he saw anyone doing saw anyone doing so he would wake them up by his feet and be very upset.

Ya'eesh bin Tagta Gafari narrates from his father that he states "I was lying on my stomach, suddenly a person nudged me with his feet and said, 'to lie down like this is disliked by Allah Almighty.' When I turned to se who it was, I saw the Messenger of Allah ."

Subhanallah
I had no knowledge of bowing (Ruku). What did I know about prostration? Was I in search of your footprints or was I prostrating in prayer..Strange is my life and my servitude

Wherever I found your footprints I made it my direction

SUBHANALLAH
"If you desire my life, I will sacrifice it. If you desire my wealth I will give it. But, there is one thing that I will never sacrifice, and that is, the love and reverence for the beloved, Sayyadina Rasool-Allah (Salla Allahu 'alayhi wa Sallam)." SUPPLICATION POSITION...

Aisha radiallahu anha states, "When the Messenger of Allah would lay down every night on his bed, he would raise his hands in the supplication position and pray. He would recite;

surah Ikhlas 3 times

Surah Naas once

Surah Falaq once

and blow on his palms and wipe his hands over his blessed body to where they could reach."

The Holy Prophet bed...

Aisha radhiallahu anha states, "The Prophet 's bed was made of animal skin which had leaves of date trees."

Umar states, "The Prophet was sleeping on a mat, the marks of the mat were left on his blessed side. I said, O messenger of Allah  only if you would sleep on something better than this.' The Holy Prophet replied, "What have I to gain in this world, this world is like a traveller is travelling in the sun and he sits under a tree, gets up and goes."

WUDHU BEFORE SLEEPING...

When a person sleeps with wudhu, Allah Almighty gives permission for the soul to visit the arsh and to bow to Almighty Allah. Whilst sleeping in the state of wudhu, the reward for worship is being written for you in your book of deeds all night, SubhanAllah!

1. To lie on the back is the sleep of the Prophets .

2. To sleep on the right side is the sleep of the Worshippers.

3. To sleep on the left side is the sleep of the rulers.

4. To sleep on the stomach is the sleep of the devil.

THE SLEEP OF THE HOLY PROPHET ...

The Messenger of Allah would talk to his wife and whilst praising Allah Almighty he would go to sleep. The Messenger of Allah's blessed eyes were closed, but his heart was always in the remembrance of the creator.

YA GHAWTHU'L-A'ZAMU AGHITH-NI FI KULLI AHWALI WA'NSUR-NI FI KULLI AMALI WA TAQALLAB-NI FI TARIQI-KA BI-HURMATI JADDI-KA MUHAMMDINWA BI-SHIFA'ATI-HI WA RUHI-HI WA SIRRI-H.

Discuss with one's family members matters pertaining to Deen before
going to sleep. (whether it is in the form of reading some Islamic Books
or narrating some incidents of Sahabah, etc.)
To sleep in the state of Wuzu
To make the bed yourself
Dust the bed thrice before retiring to bed
One should change into some other clothes (e.g.pyjamas) before going to
sleep
To brush the teeth with a miswaak
To sleep on the right hand side
To sleep with the right palm under the right cheek
To keep the knees slightly bent when sleeping
To refrain from sleeping on ones stomach
To sleep on a bed or to sleep on the floor are both sunnah.
To face Qiblah (with your face)
To recite Surah Mulk, before sleeping
To recite Ayatul Qursi
To recite Surah Ikhlaas, Surah Falaq and Surah Naas before sleeping 3
times and thereafter blow over the entire body thrice
Recite Tasbeeh-e-Fathima before sleeping.(i.e. 33 X Subhan Allah 33 X
Alhamdulillah and 34 X Allahu Akbar)
To recite the dua before sleeping
To wake up for Tahajjud Salaah

Assalam Alaikum.

The Prophet (SWS) one day said to Ali (RA): Ya Ali!

Do these five things before going to bed at night:

1. Give 4000 Dinaars in Sadaqa and then sleep
2. Read one complete Quran and then sleep
3. Pay the price for Janna'h and then sleep
4. Make two people happy with each other when they are upset and then sleep
5. Do one hajj and then sleep
Hazrat Ali (RA) said, Ya Rasulallah! This looks impossible, how will I be able to do it? Then the prophet (SAWS) replied:

4 times reading surah Fatiha is equals to four thousand Dinaars giving in Sadaqa.

3 times reading surah Ikhlas (Qul hu Allahu Ahad) is equals to on complete Quran.

3 times reading any durood shareef (Shortest: Sallalaho Alaihi Wa Salam) is the price of jannat.

10 times Astagfirullah (or any istighfar) is equals to making two unhappy people happy with each other.

4 times third Kalima is equals to one hajj.

After this Ali (RA) said, Ya Rasulallah (SAWS)! Now I will do all these before going to bed.

My dear brothers and sisters, it takes less then 5 mins for all the above zikr and look at the virtues for it.....who would not want to have all these virtues to be in their book of good deeds.
