A slightly different film thread. This should provide pointers to which films to see, (Mods? Is it okay if we post trailers?)

1. Breaking Dawn 2
2. Skyfall
3. The Hobbit
4. The Grandmasters (Yip Man)
5. Before Midnight

:)

and if they make a sequel to Fetih 1453 :)

Salams,

I was flicking through the channels last night at me mum’s (and just like how the [[uhum uhum charity people]] people gathered around the tables in front of the rolling screens during Ramazan) they were at it last night too…… (yes, collecting in the name God)

From what I can remember they were collecting for a (Multi-million pound – British Sterling!!!) organisation named Ilmuk. Ilm UK is a registered charity organisation that helps people in dire situations around the world. The tactics they were using to incite the viewers to ring in and donate were simply exceptional.

Whilst using (in this instance) the Palestinians as a makeweight to ‘emotionally charge’ the viewers to part with their money - when the phone lines went sssssshhhhhuuuuu …silent the presenters started to play games by claiming that if a lady were to ring next - the lady presenter would donate, if it was a man (to ring in) then the male presenter would do the honours by putting in a donation.

Whilst watching the Godly presentation hosted by men and women of God – it was not a coincidence the night before I came across watching this movie.

Sorry to bore you guys with my jackonory – (anyway) this is a really good movie (guys, please do not delete this movie) those who are overtly religious – please do not watch this f.i.l.m! and those of you who aren’t then enjoy the next two hours (winky smile)

Oh My God!!!

Liked the movie, shows the true nature of the so called Godmen in India, the original play in Gujarati is hilarious.
The best scene is when Mithun says " These are GOD FEARING people and not GOD LOVING people, they will return back to us ".

Being a muslim there are some scenes and dialogues that offend me, but overall was a good effort.

Man of steel and Les Miserables.

Are you really going to come and declare your love for Bollywood on an Islamic forum? That garbage should be vilified just for being plagiarist and indecent excrement. The only thing that is worse than Bollywood, is the feeble minded faggot fans of that rubbish.

Ban all Bollywood talk on Yanabi.com

How are you going to attempt to reconcile Bollywood with muslims on any level? Politically the industry funds wars against the ummah, emotionally they have no artistic merit but to infect minds with ideas of salacious relationships, religiously they confuse the issues, physically it's soft porn, full of smut and emotionally repleting images like 'item songs' where trollops dance around half naked to the glee of perverted men with male love interests their to get the viewing women percolating wet.

Can moderators please respond and share their decision? So users who are anti Bollywood can mount a formal and sardonic challenge to this aberration. Civilised ofcourse, our - I'm sure I speak for many - opening gambit has been filed.

Salams,

Yes, Aye! He’s done it again. Daniel Day-Lewis has made a hatrick of Oscars and in doing so made history by becoming the only Actor to win three Oscars! Day-Lewis has won the Best Actor Award for his starring role in the Steven Speilberg Directed Film ‘Lincoln’.

I’ve not seen this movie yet but from the trailers he seems very impressive in his acting and his looks (of resembling the former Republican President) – something which he does so well (as seen in his previous roles where he has depicted the real life characters of certain people in the movies he has acted in)

Did anyone see Jennifer Lawrence fall whilst collecting her Award!?!

Daniel Day-Lewis in his role which won him the first Oscars over 20 odd years ago (My Left Foot)

i didn't stay up to watch them...he is a pretty amazing actor -- Lincoln was a great film. I always thought de Niro or Pacino would have won more Oacars....

Salams,

Saw this movie last night and what can I say? Tells the story of the terrorists who attacked Mumbai in 2008 it retells how the attacks were carried out by the ‘alleged’ Pakistani citizens on civilians in India through the eyes of the Joint Commissioner of Mumbai Police (brilliantly, played by Nana Patekar) what those jahils did that day was quite unbelievable, very sad. Only the insane can do what they did – they were high on drugs! Only someone on high drugs can carry out what they did! Shocking!!

A decent movie leaves a bad taste in knowing the movie maker Ram Gopal Verma visited ‘The Taj Hotel’ two days after the initial attacks. There was an uproar amongst the public at that time and a lot of the press questioned his motives for such a visit, I guess this movie (unfortunately)answers his motive.

The Attacks Of 26/11 is probably one of the most horrific movies I’ve ever seen!
