This clip shows the debating culture of Pakistan in its true light. Though I did find it funny deep down it is a disgusting thing. The profanity and the open lack of adab for each other, for the deceased scholars and even for the adhan - is disgraceful.

The reason for uploading the video to show the munazra culture in its worst light so the children growing up today move away from this type of attacks and instead concentrate on acquiring the best of adab and ikhlaq (re:sis tms thread)

Oh My what is the Munazara really about?

I think its more to do with I'm right you're wrong, than right is right and wrong is wrong. The Satan must be sitting right in the middle of this smirking and thinking how easy it is for him to cause this amongst even those who claim to be God's people.

What I want to ask is, does this bring you closer to God?

Does this elevate your status in the 'eyes' of Allah swt, proving you are right, instead of what is right?

If knowledgeable individuals, molvis etc behave in such a argumentative fashion, then what hope have we mere mortals got?

The amazing part is how his Talibs, line up books, like a battle ready for attack, and as he attacks waving the book in his hands, his students are proud as they were part of the attack!

Such is the nature of man, as he learns he brims with pride and arrogance when in actual fact real true knowledge should purge you ego as Al Ghazali RA discovered. This is how civilizations, countries, tribes were destroyed.

Sectarian wars will continue to rage unfortunately, it's far popular being a sectarian-ist than a humanitarian.
