Well, there's always a danger you'll swallow water when you're drowning like a spaz lal or if it's a public pool - other peoples urine...

Besides, would you really want to excercise so vigorously whilst fasting? It's hard enough on a nomral day; and after swimming you always get a craving for the green coloured packet of Nik Naks - the Scampi and Lemon flavour coupled with a Breakaway or Blue Ribbond from the vending machine outside, pressing the 'refund' button slyly hoping for free change you're not owed, or trying to tilt it without setting off the alarm so that two items fall as you're vending.

I personally wouldn't, they charge extra for the slide these days as well; the harm outweighs the benefits.

Defintely a no from me. What about free-mixing element? And apne go swimming for the floats, but at our age, we'd look like prized Parsnips on them lol and as muslims, no bombing is allowed and that used to be the best bit, before they stopped the muslims from bombing lol

You should be banned for being witty, showing emotions and feelings and being honest! The status quo for Muslims, is dry, argumentative, dominant and boorish. Stick with it! Stop being different and try to fit in!

Swimming during Ramdhan?

We used to look for an excuse to get out of swimming, and swim like a fin-less fish with a squint in case we got chosen for the annual school gala! That was our worst nightmare but the teachers proudest moment, a star pupil swimming like an athlete in front of the entire school!

@zunaid

It's ok as long as no water enters in your stomach through your nose or mouth.

Just a polite reminder to everyone!!

Please keep your replies simple and to the point while answering to Fiqhi masail (juristical matters).
