Salams,

Boy Racers and ermmm Girls what do you think of the concept of the F1 Grand Prix being staged in Central London? Going past some of the worlds most recognised land marks would simply be awesome, The high excitement a street race of this nature would attract the world over – Simply Amazing! London already one of the best tourist destinations in the world would surely create a buzz around the UK and the world.. The Yearly Economical boost it would give to the Londoners are an attractive proposition. Surely, It would do far better at attracting visitors in to the UK than what Silverstone does.

Would any of you go to see the F1 in London? I definitely would! Ive never been to Silverstone and do not think I ever will – the place simply does not appeal to me how ever this does not mean am not an F1 Fan infact there is one track ive been on and (kind of raced on) and that was at ‘The Monte Carlo’ street race in Monaco. Went there a week before the Grand Prix, the stage was set and the track was simply huge. Its known as the most dangerous F1 Racing Track in the world and I know why, The 180 degree bends were out of this world! (Anyway back to London) It would be amazing for London to stage such a showpiece for the world to see!

The London Olympics is to create a magical buzz around the city from what the media says, would The London Formula One Grand Prix (Already being backed by the people who influence the Racing) do the same? – Have any of you experienced The F1 phenomena what was it like? London Grand Prix - Yes or No? Have your say?

Burning tyres?

Noise and smoke pollution?

Cars so fast they zoom past your eyes in a millisecond?

Fast cars going round in circles?

I don't see what the fuss is with F1 racing.

London transport struggled to cope with the Jubilee crowds, God knows what will happen when the Olympics are in full swing. Shame the F1 cars don't transport passengers, because that would surely put an ease on London underground.

Tms apart from the fact I'm on the cusp of schooling you - again; you really don't have a 'pot of glue' do you? You know I actually wonder if you're a real person with some kind of passions, or if you're actually a hermit...

I think they should imprison you in the mod section lal

Salams,

This is on! I reckon it will take between 8 and 12 years for this Street Circuit to become a reality (Insha'ALLAH) This will happen (definately) it might not become a regular on the racing calender but London Grand Prix is definately O-EN!

Just seen this on Youtube - its Awesome!!!

Salams,

The kind of money this would bring into the UK is enormous or as KTL would prounce it ‘Enormouseus’!!! Look what the London Olympics has done for East London specially the once upon a time bankrupt Hackney council - completely changed the surrounding Area’s. The predictions for the UK as a whole benefitting by London staging the Olympics are forecasted at 10 Billion pounds in revenue this year. If it (The London F1) were to give a 10% boost to the neighbouring councils i.e sharing 10% of the estimated (least minimum) £100 million pound this three day event would generate then its simple - do the maths!

This is going to take years of planning and once it comes off the plan and on to the ground a lot of people will be very pleased. You can already see the Russian Billionaires descending into London and Docking their Grand Yachts on the Thames Embankment competing with one another on who has the best looking boat. Property prices (even tho Central London is ran by the Russian money, now) the prices will just get further higher.

This one event can make a lot of people prosper in Pakistan, too! ;) ! and no am not taking the mickey.

If only the British had oil/natural /mineral resources (The Brits intellectually are very Bright people) we would not be going to war with other nations! We dont have much here resources wise but what we do have are brains (well not me but the brits, LolZ)

You are right about London transport, just ask people who commute everyday.
And I'm already planning about Olympics, won't want to travel on tube during the games. It's already overcrowded.

But F1 in London, well that would be fantastic, car buzzing around the famous sites. I think that would be better than Monocco Grand Prix.

Being it on!!!
