I'm not sure about the 4 condemned creatures, any creature that can cause harm, we can kill. But for killing house-lizards you get rewarded.

It relates to the time of hardhat Ibrahim (AS). When hardhat Ibrahim were thrown in fire, many animals tried to put the fire out whereas the lizard tried to blow the fire to make it grow.
