Next day after Imran Khan's successful Jalsa in Lahore, every news paper published the story with following heading 'Imran Khan warns of civil disobedience if assets not declared'.

It has been several (8) months since he warned that his party would spearhead a civil disobedience campaign and seize all the cities if the government failed to have politicians declare their assets.

What happened to his tall claims?

Even at that time my opinion and stance was that these are just claims and nothing is going to happen but some friends on here probably thought i had committed treason

I don't treat him different to any others and if i had a choice between PTI and PMLN i would choose PMLN and i have my reasons for that, PTI is still in the process of learning and there doing a good job copying PMLN

Its politics at the end of the day and a message to all inqilabis.. Best of luck !! (Specially after the retirement of Gen Pasha ex ISI Chief)

No one at the time and no one today says you committed treason.

At the time and even today what i couldnt understand is the rose tinted glasses for N league and the scrutiny for PTI? Why?

PTI was under the wing of Pasha - yet no evidence has been produced just some chinese whispers - yet its fact that Nawaz sharif was the political baby of Gen. Zia and so was Babar Awan and PM Gillani - but thats bygones lets not discuss that heh!

All political parties and politicians are cut from the same cloth and all are part of the dirty establishment that brought country to the brink of disaster. The only difference is that Imran Khan himself is not corrupt but he also doesn't have the courage challenge the establishment or throw out there direct-descendants from his party.

PML-N is not different than PPP and allies. Their criminal silence has already exposed them during recent attack against the Supreme Court. Mian Amir, the owner of Duniya news is Hamza Shehbaz's business partner, Nawaz Sharif's daughter called Duniya News anchors to clarify Hamza Shebaz's name that he did not accept bulletproof car from Riaz Thekedar but she didnt have the guts to condemn Riaz Thekedar's live interview. Along with Govt. charlatans, they were watching the live interview but didn't try to stop it or condemned it, I expected more from these Ganja-Brothers.

I initiated this topic because i want to hear from his supporters/fans that what do they think about him not fulfilling his promises? When will he launch civil disobedience campaign against corrupt politicians who don't declare their assets? Or it was just a blabber as he did before about Altaf Hussain to be declared terrorist in Uk?

If he later realized politicians-assets is not that big-issue to start a movement against Govt. but what about bogus voters and fake degrees cases? Why he's not availing these chances? Entire youth is behind him so what is he waiting for? Or Feudals, Pirs and Musharraf's leftovers in his own party are not letting him take bold steps?

All political parties and politicians do not want independent judiciary except Imran Khan but many in his own party are against (he must get rid of them).

My own opinions are that the reason there was no civil disobedience campaign is that in the final year of a government what is their to be gained? You would have made PPP a political martyr once again. Also the country at the moment is in the midst of several crises including insurgencies, american attacks, terrorism, on top of extreme corruption, no electricity, fuel shortages, food shortages - bhookahy nango ko dawat is tara ki dawat do gai to mulk ka kuch nahi bachna tha.

IK is not perfect by a long shot, but what else do you have? Which party is calling for a rightly guided caliphate? There is HT but there is enough rumour and innuendo about to suggest that it has been compromised by foreign intelligence. Hence for Pakistan is there really an option other than PTI? From his record we know that he delivers and isnt corrupt.

Further br, what you are talking about is a revolutionary movement - but PTI isnt a revolutionary movement it just adopts the slogans of revolution. Revolution is easier said than done because a lot of blood will be spilt.No revolution on earth has happened where an old guard(i.e system) has been removed to be replaced by a more popular one and blood not spilt. Why look anywhere else, just go back to the seerah and see how many sahabah gave their lives and in such cruel manner they were martyred. My support for IK is simply he is the best option available.

Anyway it looks like its kicked off in Punjab! If Imran Khan can lead it then all the better if not then there will be bloodshed.
