With the coming of the month of Ramadan, it is necessary to evaluate our relationship with food and health generally. As Muslims and people who endeavour to tread the Prophetic path it is of utmost importance to focus on aspects of our life which are unfortunately failing to live up to the Prophetic standard.

However, change always begins with education and learning, and that is why we have invited the blessed Shaykh to teach and inspire us about the Prophetic ethics of nutrition, food and healthy eating. This will definitely be a unique and extremely valuable opportunity to explore the metaphysics of food in developing spirituality in an ever increasing consumer society.

In addition the event hopes to hold a Prophetic and health foods exhibition with an amazing chance to taste, sample and buy various Prophetic and super foods. There will also be a chance to try some "InnerDimensions" hand made Prophetic smoothies which again hopes to make the experience enjoyable, educational and exciting.

Biography of Shaykh Muhammad (Allah preserve him)

Shaykh Dr. Muhammad bin Yahya Al-Husayni An-Ninowy was born and raised in Syria. He began his study under his father, Sayyed Yahya (Rahimahu Allah), and many of the senior scholars of Aleppo/Syria at the time, memorizing the Glorious Qur'an and acquiring knowledge in many of the Islamic disciplines, such as Tawheed, Hanafi/Shafi Fiqh, Usool, and Ihsaan.
Besides graduating from the Faculty of Usul-ud-Din at Al- Azhar University, Shaykh Dr. Muhammad delved further into the fields of Hadeeth and Ihsaan under the tutelage of many of the foremost scholars worldwide, who resided in Syria, Hijaz, Morocco, Egypt, and others.
Shaykh Dr. Muhammad focuses on reviving the call to Basics i.e the Quran and Sunnah, in addition to teaching tolerance, peace and compassion.
Shaykh Dr. Muhammad is the senior-in-residence scholar at Al-Madina Masjid in Atlanta, Georgia since 2001. He is the Director and Founder of Planet Mercy worldwide and Tabah/Madina Institutes in the USA, UK, and South Africa. Shaykh Dr. Muhammad has authored many books in the science of Tawheed and Hadith, some of which are being translated into English and published, such as: Hadithi commentary on the Shamaael of Imam Tirmithi, Explanation of the Nukhba Text in Hadith sciences, Hadithi commentary on Imam Nasais Khasaaes, a PhD thesis on Imam Muslims methodology in Hadith, and many others. Shaykh Muhammad also holds a Bachelors Degree in Mircobiology from the University of Illinois and a Doctor of Medicine degree. Some of Shaykh Muhammads lectures can be viewed on www.alhaqq.com.
