Sick and tired of the slandering of Shaykh Asrar, somebody has finally created a video refuting this. Please share it with everyone.


Instead of posting just YouTube videos, please write a proper post to commend Shaykh or condemn his opponents. Though you can add YouTube links directly to the Media Section.

Biography of Shaykh Asrar: Shaykh Asrar Rashid is an accomplished scholar from Birmingham. He completed his studies in the Arabic language, fiqh, logic, inheritance law, usul and hadith under the tutelage of Allama Rasool Bakhsh Saeedi, Mufti Muhammad Yaar Khan Qadri and Shaykh Muhammad Jumu‘a. Shaykh Asrar has travelled to a number of countries in pursuit of sacred knowledge including Syria, Morocco and the Hijaz where he obtained licences to transmit the classical sciences from the likes of Shaykh Muhammad al-Ya‘qoubi, Shaykh Idris Kattani, and the great Muhaddith of Makka Sayyid Muhammad ibn ‘Alawi al-Maliki. At present he teaches the Dar-e-Nizami Programme in Birmingham as well as continuing advanced studies under Mufti Muhammad Yaar. May Allah Almighty raise his rank and protect him for the benefit of the ummah.

The slanders are that he is a self-proclaimed dog, he shouts and points in his videos, he ran away from murtazas challenge.

i dont doubt ur fears. people ramp up feelings to a certain extent - to receive the wah wah. But it only takes one idiot to take things one step further. just watched a few video's of murtaza khan and asrar - and its the same old pakistani speaking in an arab accent! Murtadha is actually murtaza and im sure at home he is called murty! He ramps up hatred against brelvi's and shias and then when confronted in another debate he basically is all brotherly. Blatant lies against the shia that they worship ali as god, that brelvi's worship graves, that they are similar to qadiani's etc.

The reality is that they are playing with people's emotions. its human nature to want to feel that we are the sole people with a contract on righteousness with the lord but it isnt the case unfortunately and we can all be wrong sometimes.

I just cant understand how people have time to go round the country giving lectures shrouded as dawah when in reality it is hatred. Who is feeding their family? More and more i believe my view that the only good dawah is the one through excellence of one's own morals, etiquettes.

Yep, looks like one day someone might get killed over all this.

In this video Brother Murtaza explains quite fairly his views and also explains the reasons he considers his views to be valid. He carries himself out to be quite dignified about himself and quite respectful of others who disagree with him.

As he gives valid reasons why he might not be debating with Brother Asrar - as the video is quite self explanatory from the behaviour of both party followers!

There are more hate preachers out there then the preachers of love,peace and unity.

There will be a 're-match' of Sheikh Asrar and Murtaza Khan due in Birmingham. Sheikh Asrar is leading the youth in Birmingham and elsewhere and ready to defend the Ahle Sunnah Wal Jammah, always ready for a debate.

Yes, its quite self explanatory but its not only the monstrous followers, their Tedi Imams are equally responsible. All these so-called lovers of prophet (Sallallalhu Alieh Wassalam) and Sahaba-o-Ahlybayt should control their 'passion' and 'zeal' becasue it's all about the 'words' they speak. When people catch them by their words, they start apologizing and it's not just slip of the tongue. When we hold such people to be our role models who we wouldn't even share a cup of tea with let alone Ideology about life, the problem such as the above occurs-nonsensical personal confrontations.

Who are there people who have become self appointed vicegerents of Islam and who we begin following, what is this saying about you the follower. Infact it says more about you the follower and the quality of our thoughts. They are not to be tursted with the most precious thing in your life, your faith your ultimate connection with God. Angry, egoistic people will never lead you to God they will lead you to themselves and their ostentatious Religious exhibition.

Did God ever intend for Men of faith and Religion to be egoistic? to be arrogant and proud? to be completely governed by their own emotions which can not be separated from their upbringing?

God has intended FREE men to be leaders of Faith, and what a better God they ask you to worship than a FREE God?

Murtaza Khan a Salafi preacher was spewing vitriolic accusations against Imam Ahmed Raza Khan and other adherents of Sunni Islam (and shi'ite); the usual trite about worshipping graves, ahle bid'dah so in and so forth. Shaykh Asrar challenged him to back his claims up and organised debate after debate and rightly so, why should a deranged little squirt be allowed to spread aspersion against a whole cross section of a community unabated?

Murtaza and his clan went quiet after suffering some repercussions from those he was publicly spreading calumny against and the level of his scholarly intelligence is truly pathetic. Just desserts I say! The man is not allowed in Yorkshire, as he find out when he visited Halifax recently; he's a hate preacher, his lectures are ville and an affront to the spirit of Islam.

Badman you're entitled to your opinion, but it's based on a skewed and uninformed basis. Murtaza dignified? Ha!

Like i said before in the video badman posted he does come across as dignified, brotherly etc. And i dont want to cast aspersions on his character so he may have reformed himself. But in other videos he does have a real go at brelvi's and shia spewing allsorts of rubbish. One things for certain it isnt a scholarly discussion - its naked wahabism for all its evils.

Another thing i notice that in all groups there are 2 types of people - one that are genuine and one that are aggressively for fitna. murty bhai is from the latter! The sad thing is even amongst the sunni's there are now people who so easily call each other kaafir, mushrik or shia. Watching murty bhai is like a mirror on the evils of takfir and hatred. Its nothing new wahabi's have done it from day one and now are doing it in the homeland of their sponsors.If it does kick off its britains chickens coming home to roost!

I still dont understand how the dawah carriers feed their family, pay their mortgage, put petrol in their car, pay school fees, pay the asda bill - and still have time to organise lectures and pay for the venue etc. Surely it cant just be me who finds paying his way difficult?

Thankyou for this info - I take you as a sound source! Well, if he's (Murtaza) been spewing hatred then that is wrong. Ive only gone off from the first video i looked at on youtube today.

Brother Asrar seems a sincere person, Insha'ALLAH.

I think people should be working on the One Supreme Ilahi we all worship rather than our differences, but putting that across to the najdi's is like looking for a needle in a haystack.

May ALLAH SWT have mercy on all of us - Najdi's and Non-Najdi's, LolZ!!!

let you into a lil secret - when i come back from Hajj - I bought some books with me from Saudi and for a couple of months i became a wahabi, LolZ!!! I was attending their lectures, classes etc etc (but stricktly no jilbabs, lol, but Shukr Al-Hamdulilah my big mouth saved me from their fitna - I said things which their great sheikhs never liked (but it was God looking after me - me thinks) God, ALLAH You Are Great!!!! Yes, I have seen that video and it's hilarious to see his reaction when confronted by some youth. And how his style of presentation changed as well. Instead shouting shirk,shirk he started sounding all brotherly and lovely. One just have to see the video bro MR posted to see his other side which is not as pleasing as this one.

Masha'Allah Shaykh Asrar! May Allah 'Azz wajja Bless them more with good Health and save them from any problems they facing and are to face Ameen Bijahi Nabiyil Ameen SalAllahu alahi wasallam.
Shaykh Asrar Rashid is trying very hard to spread the True work of Deen-e-Ahmad SalAllahu alahi wasallam, Allah 'Azz wajjal has bestowed something special upon the Shaykh sb, [What will we know apart from accusing the Great Shaykh], Al hamm du lillah 'Azz wajjal Allah 'Azz wajjal has gave him the ability to speak up against najdiya movement, His character is different to other Great Respected Sunni Scholars, Fact is that most Sunni Scholars want things to be done there way, Shaykh Asrar is simply trying his best to stop the youngsters going the other way, whether the youngsters are clean shaven and have small beards or known as "gangsters" from some people, at least there 'aqeeda[beliefs] will be on the safe side!
I also understand from people who say and think this way is not way of bringing the youth together and having unity amongst each other, how is this possible, the unity thing goes on and has always been crying out for too long... the least one can do is sort our self out and come try to come closer to Allah 'Azz wajjal and Sayyaduna RasoolAllah SalAllahu alahi wasallam.
The Real point I want to make is Shaykh Asrar is doing good from his way of side, I only requests the youngsters who like his lectures and trying to spread his work to take it easy some time, we don't want to be killing each other, serious.
Note: Shaykh Asrar Hafidhullahu Ta'ala has said what is to be only Haq! Whether its Afdhilyat, "haq chaar yaar or saab yaar" what ever,... if you have a problem against If any of these things or anything else about Shaykh Asrar then go directly to him and ask him. simple. Shaykh Asrar always from what I know says with Evidence and proofs, not from any newly made up stories or tales!
