Brigadier Ali Khan one of the most capable officers in the Pakistan army has been accused of membership of HT and charged with trying to overthrow the Pakistan government in the most absurd manner - by getting f16's to bomb a meeting of the military elite!

Below are his qualifications - a man who is so capable could surely have thought of a better plan?

- He Qualified a japanese language course from Japan
- He served as a UN observer in Bosnia
- He was there in the Gulf War
- He did Logistics Staff Course from the Army School of Logistics

- He commanded an Infantry Brigade
- He got a master's degree in War Studies from the National Defence University
- He was selected from the whole army to represent Pakistan in the Tokyo Defence Forum
- He did M.Phil in National Security Strategy from National Defence University, USA where he outclassed senior ranking officers from 52 different countries
- He was awarded with Sitara-e-Imtiaz for his exemplary services
- He has been on the faculty of all the military institutions as an instructor, including School of Infantry and Tactics, Command and Staff College, National Defence University and has been instructor of officers even senior to him
-At the time of his arrest he was doing Ph.d in Peace and Conflict Studies from the National Defence University

During a flagstaff meeting after Abbottabad Drama, he openly criticized Military and Political elite of the country in front of Army Cheif, Mr. Kiyani. All allegations against him are baseless and ridiculous. His only crime was to stand up for who he was.

I'm glad to see that some Army officials are still 'ghairatmand'.

If there is evidence against him then it should be presented in a military court and his guilt/innocence proven.

i don't think members of the army should be allowed to join terrorist organisations like HT.
