West/US/Israel are playing same game over and over again but it’s such a shame we still can't see it. We have reached the lowest level of ethics and morality that we see every thing through rigid sectarian glasses (even secular-liberal Muslims).

Muslim Unity doesn’t mean affirmation of each other’s believes but to unite against the open enemies of Islam. If Christian and Jewish (people-of-the-book) are better than Hindus (the polytheists) then why Sunni, Shia and Wahabi are not better than Christian and Jewish? why can’t Sunni, Shia and Wahabi dominate countries rely on each other instead of depending on Christian and Jewish?

It’s not about Salfis, Wahabis, Sunnis or Shia, it’s all against Pakistan. Since its creation, they have been trying to break Pakistan apart. They tried to wage civil war through sectarianism but miserably failed, even entire country is united against their (non-Shia) Taliban terrorists. Now they are taking the long route, all these Arab uprising were not public revolutions but the implementation of their pre-planned agenda, to make it a safe neighbourhood for Israel. And before the execution of their final plan, they don't want to leave any room for any country that can surprise Israel with its strong Army in the middle-east. I’m afraid Turkey will also fall before they proceed with an attack against the Pakistan.

‘Sunnis’ come here to warn us and urge us to back Syrian rebels and not to support Syria or Iran, the evil Shia. For past 40 years, very same people and ideologies were ruling over Syria and Iran. West/US/Israel supported these tyrants instead of helping-people to get rid of them but why now? How suddenly they turned into humanitarians? They don’t have any sympathy for Syrian or Iranians but why fall of Syria or Iran is important for them? US/NATO and India are already in Iraq and Afghanistan, and they want to attack Iran, to surround Pakistan from all sides.

Why to invite Kuffar to invade Muslim lands? Syria, Iran or Bahrain's issues can be solved at OIC platform but only IF Saudi Arabia wishes. Only IF Saudi Arabia supports, Pakisani Army can take control of Syria, in ONE DAY..........only IF we are united...........only IF we are united.

A wonderful post, actually I was going to post something along the same lines! How strange but I guess the recent debates on here have fuelled your response.

Freedom from Sectarianism!!!

I love all my Muslim brothers and sisters despite and regardless of their Aqeedah. I just hate violence and killing and anyone who projects such characteristics only deserves my hate.

Let us all make a pledge to try our best to talk of unity and feel for our big Muslim family everwhere.

Freedom from secterisam ?      Then we should stop following Mulla's. Take good things from all sects and leave the bad. Unity comes with education and that is rare in Muslims. We could not unite ourselves from last 1250 years and one of the main cause is lack of education. Education will bring prosperity and Prosperity will bring unity.  Why Us and west get united on war against Muslims nd their resources? Think about that. Millions of christens are living in misery in continent Africa why they ain't united ?

The fact that we have come this far as a forum is testament that eyes have finally opened.

If someone spouts rubbish pin the blame on the person not on the whole jamat or ideology. bakwas is bakwas regardless from whom it comes.

If ulema can come together in a non genuine manner under the mma in pakistan to gain some power then ordinary peopple should be able to put petty differences aside too. These same ulema tell us day in day out that they are kafir, they are mushrik, they are biddati, they are destined for jahannam, dont send food to their house, dont give your daughters to them - themselves they all get together under one alliance to fight an election for power? And fools still attend the jalsa!

The world is divided into 2 camps. One camp is discussing the order in which countries should be invaded and the other is discussing in which order slogans should be said. Do you really want universities a hundred years down the road to discuss how stupid we were! Because like it or not the muslims will be united one day again and we will once again flourish. They will look back to this period as a period of jahilliyah like the meccan period and will laugh at our stupidity. We the sunni's will become known as not ashiq e rasool but ashiq e langar! Everything we do involves food!! :D

The problem you have my dear brother DS is that the people you are addressing (Barelwi Sunnis) don't have a clue what's happening in the outside world i.e. in Syria, Palestine and what might happen in Iran etc. so how can you expect them to give serious though to these questions?

They have probably never watched a news channel or read a newspaper article on any of the issues. They are living in a bubble.

Brother DS, I like the title of this thread, 'Only if we are united' but this is just the kind of conspiracy-laden nonsense which people
like Zaid Hamid spout and it seems its spreading...
Bro, I love Pakistan but, seriously, Pakistan isn't THAT important in the global scheme of things...to believe otherwise is just wishful
thinking on our part....there is no conspiracy to destroy pakistan...
Shall I tell you what the real problems of Pakistan are: poverty, illiteracy, corruption, feudal lords, people selling religion and terrorism...

Cure the first four and the rest will disappear...

--
These problems beset most Muslim countries unfortunately...

But yes, unity is always a good thing. Conspiracy theories don't help bro. No one is out to get the Pakistani bomb...the CIA have known
about our nukes since 1984...the world has accepted a Pakistani nuke as a reality because we aren't threatening anyone with it...

You don't have to listen to Zaid Hamid to conclude that Pakistan having nuclear weapons and world's best Army is their actul target.

By the way, I don't listen to him at all, he's on ISI's payroll, the mother of pakistan's corrupt system and politicans. His only job is to spread the conspiracies and glorify the corrupt army Generals.

There never was unity amongst the muslims nor there will ever be. We have a list of martyrs right from the time of caliphs to imams. What worse could ever be that the leaders of jannah got martyred by people reading Kalima of their grandfather.

We need to stop dreaming that there ever will be unity amongst us; atleast not until Imam mahdi arrives I guess. So people stop dreaming or wakeup during Imam's time.

World's best army?
We lost every war with India we ever fought.. It makes me sick to write that but its the truth. Yes we fight
bravely and against the odds but we still lost.

Please, for Pakistan's sake, get rid of this Pakistani megalomania...

bro ss lets be fair - if we had lost every war - where did we get azad kashmir from? Even unc sam says we had the better outcome in the 1965 war. 1971 was no doubt a disaster but read what field marshall manekshaw says of the pakistani army!

Whatever bro DS said was the other side of the coin to what you said - both go hand in hand. To say nations dont conspire is forgetting the very basics of foreign relations - ofcourse they conspire otherwise they wouldnt have foreign office departments or spies in their embassies. its just we arent bothered. fikr na faka aish kar kaka sort of thing. We are more interested in the capitalist dream where a few achieve wealth whilst the poor carry on dreaming.

Who says we are poor?

We have the wealth of Imaan given to us from Allah and that's the most significant wealth you could attain. Only If we could apply "La illah illala" practically in our lives , the worldly badshahi will restore itself. The problem with us lot is that we're waiting for something to happen. Everybody is looking after themselves, be it community, country or your family. Nobody cares about the Ummah as a whole and then we wonder why are we like this.....

We're all waiting for Imam Mehdi, untill then Hathoun Main Kashkool.....

On its military budget, training, how it makes use of its resources, how it maximises its resources there is no better army in the world than Pakistan.

If Pakistan didn't have a formidable force, why doesn't America attack Pakistan and get the job over and done with? Simple question without the Ifs and Buts.
