Not that other religion have remained unaffected by this racist doctrine.

What about Islam's recognition of slavery? Where does that fit into our islamic equality?

Slavery was existing thousands of years before Islam. Slavery was not introduced by Islam. Infact it was gradually abolished in the guise of "Kaffara for Saum", etc.
