What is the correct way for a Male to use a Lota once he has finished his business. I cannot seem to correctly wash with the Lota, I try with my left hand and from behind but the water does not seem to hit the correct target and just goes goes on the outter surface. Plz Help.

I understand you have problems accessing and using the lota for your concerns where concerned.

I would like to advise you to try using the shower pipe, that is if you have installed this facility near your tehlut (toilet). You just pick up the shower pipe, press the button and off you go.

But I am unsure whether it is allowed to you shower pipe especially if you are doing istinja/wudu/cleansing of the front and rear.

Is it permissable to use shower pipe for istanja? Perhaps someone can assist further.

I think maybe try pouring water from the front and cleaning from that direction as well?

In response to the first reply, I do not have a shower pipe next to my toilet.

Secondly, How is it possible to pour from the front end?

Could someone explain the correct technique?

Thanks for that detailed descriptions of what different products there are in the market , however, all I am interested in is how to use the LOTA correctly by hitting the target accurately. So please explain that.

To get straight to the point and excuse me for being a bit explicit, use your left hand to move your front private part out of the way. Use your right hand to pour water down. Make sure your legs are spread out and your buttocks are relaxed and not clenched. Also try pouring the water with slightly more speed, it should cover your whole area.

Or the alternative way is pour water from lota onto your left hand and take it to the dirt.

If your read the fiqh books, its desirable to wash then wipe, this implies you cant do both (its really hard with a lota). Wash then wipe.
