Salams,

Tom Maynard an up and coming Surrey batsman tragically died in the early hours ofMonday morning, Tom Maynard was the son of England cricketer Matthew Maynard. The 23 year old was hit by a train near Wimbledon park tube station. He had a very bright future within the game who was tipped to become an England regular. His death should remind all of us that there is more to life than rivalry in cricket and every soul shall return to his Lord. A quite a sad day when we hear of people of such a young age die so tragically. May God give his loved ones the patience and some time to reflect on such a tragic tragedy. May ALLAH Have Mercy on all of us in this world and the world hereafter.

He'd been drinking, and driving recklessly.Surrey Police had stopped him already, but he apparently ran off. Found later dead.

Many lessons to learn from here. Being rich don't guarantee you P.O.M (peace of mind) nor does being poor... wait I do have a point to make here. Oh yeah. It's the closeness you have with Allaah swt that gives you P.O.M.
