Last night I had a strange dream-- I dreamt that I was in England in my hometown and someone tells me that Ala Hazrat has passed away and
that my brothers and I had to arrange the funeral. Then the dream changed and there were 1000s of people rushing to the graveyard
to do Ala Hazrat's janazah and I was amongst them. We were reading his famous Salam with the lines, 'Sayyidi Ala Hazrat pe laakhon salam"
I was caught in the rush of people and then I took a shortcut in my dream to the graveyard and see Ala Hazrat in his grave (I only saw a part of
their face from the side view) as the gravestone was partially removed from the tomb. I knew it was Ala Hazrat.
Then I went away and other people were still coming in droves to see Ala Hazrat as I was going back. Amongst them were some people
who were making fun of Ala Hazrat and I thought to myself in my dream these must be Wahabis. Then my dream ended.
What does this mean?

Finding it difficult to decipher the meaning of your dream because I did not find any emotions in it. I often look for meaning through the feeling of the dream, of everyone around you and especially the person whom you have dreamt about. It is interesting that you have dreamt about a person who is dead as dead in your dream, quite often we dream of them as alive. It is good you read salam on him, may Allah forgive his sins and increase his comfort.
I once dreamt of Ghazi Abbas surrounded by water with droplets on his face. He was with Shuhadae kerbala in a Ship of some nature but my eyes only focused on his face, he was beautiful and was smiling at me, teeth showing. He had beautiful arched black eyebrows, I still remember what he looked like after all these years.

Sis FTR,
I wrote it up on here hoping someone will be able to interpret it for me! I remember feeling happy whilst reading the Salam.
Re your dream about Ghazi Abbas -- that was beautiful!

when Saints and Prophets come in dream, sometimes they are referred to their work or their efforts they made ...
if Prophet (PBUH) comes in dream sometime It's his Deen. He is referring to His Deen.
for your dream it could be that we are as whole (Muslims from sub-continents) are burying the vision and spirit of Ala Hazrat RA.
I could be wrong ... It's your dream ...

I agree.
Though i'm not any professional dream interpreter but i think Ala Hazrat is upset over his own follower's actions and blunders (on his name). Most of them even haven't read his books but invent lies and falsely attribute it to him.
Secondly, why would Wahabi attend his funeral prayer? Wahabis could never academically refute any of his book but now they make fun Ala Hazrat because of his so-called followers. Those who were making fun of Grand Imam, are ignorant (Jahil-e-Mutliq) admirers and lovers of Ala Hazrat.

As per your cryogenics thread, it means jack.
This is ultimately a process of nothing more than an "advanced" biological computer that will be superseded in the near future. No "meaning" really....your meaningless life processes, a result of random and meaningless collisions (prove me wrong), simply culminated in a meaningless dream.
My best post this year guys

Chemist,
you make the typical mistake of assuming a person is only unidimensional
and also of conflating two totally unrelated areas. It is possible to be interested
in AI Whilst asking for spiritual interpretation of dreams. Man is a complex machine!!
Do Androids dream of electric sheep?

Asalaam Alai Kum
SS & YNC need to chill out!
SS your dream means leave the shadow behind you and come into the light to complete your belief.
You saw Ahla Hadrat dead, yet you send salaat upon them in your dream.
You saw half of yourself, but you was eager to see the other half of their blessed face.
You know what you have to do as ALLAH's mercy is beckoning you.
Loose the Skeptic part and live in the way of the first.
Wasalaam Alai Kum.

I am not sure if anyone of us can interept this dream. Its bit complex and I agree with Sister FTR that we normally see dead people alive in our dream. I think I would go with brother DS's interpetation.
We're into dream interptation mode so I will add mine. Here's a dream which I saw a while back!
I am in large gathering, everyone is there even presidents, listening to a speach of a very well known and respected scholar. Someone called out that Ala Hazrat (ra) has come to the gatering. I got up and rushed to meet him as I thought when eveybody finds out I might not be able to meet the great personality. When I went to see Ala Hazrat (ra) ,I saw him sitting on the floor on carpet made out of leaves with few people around him. He was wearing Black Imama and he was in his young years. I still remember it. He asks me to come forword and sit infront of him. The dream goes on..... but what I could never understand that in a big gathering why wasn't more people running to see Ala Hazrat???
There's another dream which somebody asked me about, basically somebody went the Madina Shareef in the Prophet Sallaho Alhe waslam time but when the Jamat time came people told that the Prophet Sallaho Alhe Waslam are ill and won't be able to make Jamat, It is very good dream on one hand but very upsetting as well
