Yep, just enjoyed it B) no doubt Baji TMS, mothers are to be loved :) By the way, I made the most gajar Halwa myself, I grated the carrots and boiled the eggs, and cooked it :o my mom was just sitting on chair giving me instructions :o Everytime i sat down, she said " Ve, tu fer beth gaya ain, chal uth chamcha mar" :o Now to wash up :(

On the new year, we are planing to cook Haleem with Naan, chapli kebab and Firni :D Please share you guys, what are you going to cook on new year :P

Inshallah, I will pay her your salam Baji TMS :)

Salams GKDushmdushm!

dont know what i'll be cooking new years eve but i know weve got quite a few guests coming round new years eve. christmas day we were round at me elder brothers house - the food was simply fantastico, me sister-in-law's cooking has improved, Masha'ALLAH, LolZ (my elder brother had his apron on - LolZ -he dont know how to cook - he was supervising LolZ!!!)....... this week theyre round ours.

chapli kebab mmmm can you share your recipe? please
Kebabs- this is how i make mine

1/2 kilo mince meat
1/2 teaspoon paprika powder
1 teaspoon garlic poweder
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1/4 finely sliced onion
some finely sliced fresh parsley
good pinch salt n pepper
2 tablespoon of olive oil

mix all the above ingredients toghether (putting oil in at last and mix well) you should be able to smell all the ingredients.
wrap it up in foil and leave overnight in fridge.

make in to kebabs (put on a skewer) and grill

serve with hot pitta and nice fresh salad - (want to put weight on?) when kebabs are nearly grilled add some Grated cheddar cheese on top of the kebab on one side and let it melt (whilst being grilled)
