according to irfan shah to say or use alihisalaam (AS) for ahle bait is Shirk fi Risalat and he is not Sunni

imam bukhari always used Alihisalaam AS for names of ahle bait e athar, was that shirk fi risalat?
is Imam Bukhari not a Sunni???

The bottom line is it doesnt matter what irfan shah says. The deen is for each individual and hence it is each individuals job to do sufficient research on any given topic. The moment we stop devolving deen to others is the moment we start the journey to grow ourselves as an individual and an ummah.

The deen empowers individuals not enslaves them. Sir Syed Ahmed when asked who he would have voted for if he was around after rasool allah s.a.w (i.e Abu bakr ra or Ali a.s) he said neither i would have put myself foward! This isnt the deen of slaves it is the deen of proud men who value their independence and bow only to truth.

In the court of muawiyah one of his soldiers rebuked him seriously at which a roman emissiary was shocked. Muawiyah replied these are free men who bow to no one but truth!

forever we complain about the antics of a clique of men whom we deputed to be our lords. Before we look out the window look in the mirror the fault lies with us. If someone spouts rubbish then leave it and if someone spreads goodness take it. Be sincere to your lord who is al-haqq.

Very sad, he has neither read Hadaiq-e-Bakhshish nor Bukhari. I don't know what he's after but we should better ignore him.

A short summary taken from Frederick Ferre's book 'A Basic Modern Philosophy of Religion' can be helpful to understand this situation

A frog in a well has no idea about life in a field. This 'well-frog' has never been out of the well. He believes that the world is just the space he has inside the well, and that the sky is no bigger or smaller than what he sees. Based on this belief, he thinks, acts and speaks. This is, so to speak, his view of life and the world.

A friend from outside of the well drops in and says that the world is not only the well and that the sky is not as small as that seen from the bottom of the well, but the well-frog does not believe it. His friend also advises him that life should not be confined to this tiny space and that the true meaning of life is to be found in a bigger world beyond this limited sensory well, but the well-frog does not understand. He plans his life only in accordance with the circumstances of the well and believes that to try to achieve this plan is the sole purpose and meaning to his life. When everything seems to be going smoothly as planned, he thinks life is worth living. He feels that he could not be happier anywhere else.

PS: Please, leave him alone.

I strongly agree with Brother DS that leave this man alone ... more we challenge him, more he becomes arrogant... at the end, He is harming himself ... He is turning Maslak e Ala hazrat into Sipah e Sahaba ...

ur welcome. im not defending the man nor attacking him. For me I have said ever since ummah channel came on air that it is nothing to do with ummah but a takfiri element of the brelvi community. the exact mirror of the salafis. Just as the salafis were used by the brits for their purposes so will these guys.

Last time i counted there are 10 uk based tv channels that are run by muslims. Looked at positively that means we are finding more than half a million pounds from somewhere each month to fund them. Looked at negatively can you name 1 programme that has had a lifechanging experience for any1?

The biggest change we can effect is to utilise public forums such as this to ensure we embarrass people to change if they do not take the initiative themselves.

The crying shame is that there isnt a dearth of people who can improve our lot. when was the last time we saw hamza tzortsis on tv? Even Shaikh Hamza Yusuf, or from Pakistan Orya Maqbool Jan saab? These guys could have a profound effect on people. The reason we wont see them is that in the short term they have little effect on ratings.

When was the last time that both the shia and sunni channels say lets do a joint production? It saves costs and promotes unity. The reason panel members are chosen are purely for nationalistic reasons as they appeal to the target audience. They will have a token gujerati to appeal to the indian community etc Its the wrong way of going about things, and shows either insincerity on the part of the owners or lack of vision.

Between them the Pakistani and Indian communities have contrived to destroy the pir mureed system of guidance. I fear till the day of qayamat the trust factor has been lost and it will forever be opportunists who seek out charlatans for small alledged selfish benefit.

One of the things that have pushed me to denounce all sects is the event when rasool allah s.a.w walked as victor into Makkah and he altered his route so as not to disturb a dog feeding her child. I doubt history ever witnessed such mercy from a victorious emperor prior to that or after that. And those who use the pulpit of the same man (s.a.w) to engender hatred between HUMANS .. well there is something seriously wrong in those who spout such rubbish and those who continue to listen and get excited by it. It was eleven years ago that i walked out of a mosque because of this and my attitude is still the same.
my brothers are those who will believe in me, without having seen me.” [Ahmad, Musnad]

Yet another thread exposing this jahil molvi. I agree that we shouldn't spend too much time and bandwidth on this attention-seeking individual. I am sure there was a thread somewhere that listed all his blunders - we should just add to it and leave it in a dark corner somewhere because after all, this individual will only ever be remembered in dark corners.

Most people are aware of his bad language, slander, nasibiyyat and half baked conclusions - we should just ignore ignorant mullahs like these who are only interested in damaging the state of the Ummah. The funniest part is how this mullah is the comedian in his own mehfils but changes his stripes when put in front a of TV Camera. What a hypocrite!

The post above probably says it all.. we need to move forward and wake up! Sunnis need to stop being herded like sheep.

Whats the point in posting this video? You know most on this site disagree with the Sheikh yet you still post the video, looking for a reaction and adding more fuel to the fire

Me personally, I dont give a damn about such trivial matters that do not benefit me. You guys keep worshiping your Pirs,. The same Pirs that are dismantling communities and turning you against one another!
Wake up and smell the coffee! The Muslims are being bombed left right and centre all over the world yet you guys (LAYMEN!) fight between yourselves over such matters?

I will never understand it, Never.

No sir, he is not a hypocrite!

He preaches what he has been taught, and what he believes. You might differ with him in the opinion, and might believe he's mistaken but you have no right to call him hypocrite or any other names.

As for the 'damaging the state of the Ummah', he's not the only to blame, we are all equally responsible.

So one minute you're slandering the Sheikh, now its a 'Thank You'
Changing your stripes much?

Thats not an excuse it wasnt for ibn taymiyyah, ibn abdul wahab and certainly not for this crackpot hes the worst out of the bunch. His sincerity means nothing and whoever allows him to speak and gave him the slot is his equal partner in crime.
As for hypocrisy its a quality and not a name. Its far better than what i would have called him calling us mushriks
And jumbojet dont insult the word sheikh by associating it with him. That word is far to high for the likes of the cousin of sharif ul hussain.

Totally agree with you bro DS and with the bro MR and Jombo, excellent posts.

If someone is hypocrite, it’s not someone else, a Shykh or Pir, its US. Yes bro, It’s so true. We will over look some mistakes/misjudgments from our own pir/jamat sect etc but would not lend this right to anyone else. Especially, someone who's against our pir, our maslak or our breed of Islam.

We care more about our own pir, jamat's than Islam itself. I’ve seen this kind of behavior and experienced it very closely. Only if we started to defend Islam, the same way we defend our pirs, we would be in a better place.

I am not Pir Abdul Qadir Jilanis mureed neither am i any Pirs mureed.
What i dont like is someone who claims to be ahle rasool degrade his own family, sit on the mimber of the Prophet(peace be upon him and his deserving family) and swear at and insult the ulema and the masses of people that disagree with his narrow minded ibn abdul wahab style bidda. He started with calling us wrong, then opponents of ijma now mushriks soon he will declare prophethood. This loonatics need to be stopped the more we stay silent the more potent his bark becomes.
He is Banu ummayah in disquise of ahle rasool they cursed hazrat Ali he curses the ummah

Sayyid Irfan Shah is not a Wali nor an `alim of any stature. He's a Molvi and a Molvi he will be. He can
insult Mufakkir e Millat Allama Imdad Hussain Pirzada and Shaykh ul-Islam Dr. Tahir ul-Qadri and Mufakkir e Islam Pir Sayyid
Abdul Qadir Jilani Shah Sahib as much as he likes. But HE KNOWS he's not up to their level.

Hafiz ul-Hadith Qibla Allama Sayyid Jalaluddin Shah Sahib rahmatullahi alayh, Sayyid Irfan Shah's blessed father, would be ashamed to see the
mess that Irfan Shah has made in the world.
