Someone I know wanted these questions answered.... Their baby died prematurely in her mother's womb at 8 months. Can you read Quran, durood/khatam sharif for the baby even though it will enter Jannah. Does the baby's ruh come back home on Thursday evenings?

Please can you assist in answering these questions....

I think the baby has to have taken atleast one breath outside the womb to have a janazah compulsory for him/her. I think the same applies for when reading for the baby. My understanding is one does not need to read anything since the baby has not had the chance to commit any sin therefore does not require it.

As for the Ruh returning, this is possible but not for collecting sawab for the reason stated above. If someone knows more or if I'm wrong please advise the poster.

P.S really sorry to hear of the loss of the baby, pass on my condolences to the Mum.

Asalaam Alai Kum

INAH LILLAH HE WAINAH ALAI HE RAAJEOON

First of ALL my condolences to the grieving parent's, may ALLAH AZ WA JAL grant them Sabar E Jameel...Aameen.

Secondly, the condolences are an extract or portion if u like from the Quraan E Majeed.

The Quran E Majeed Furqaan E Hameed say's WALA TAHSEMOO BEH HABLILLAH (Hold steadfast to the rope of ALLAH AZ WA JAL) in every way be it happiness or a calamity.

The unborn child is maasoom therefore sinless.
On the day of Qayaama this maasoom child will intercede and will become a bais e bakHshash (method of asking for forgivness) on behalf of his parent's InshaALLAH.

If you recite Kalamaat's from the Quran E Paak for the unborn child you will gain greater reward's as you are reciting ALLAH'S revelation for who?
ALLAH'S pleasure and earning his great bounty for the Akhirah.

Their is only good if you remember ALLAH'S word's for his blessing's.

Wasalaam Alai Kum.

i am not sure about janazah but you can surely do dua khatam/Quran etc for it..

Although Abdul 09 is right, that baby is sinless and will be intercession for his parents as a way to paradise..
