Sacrifice sounds a little dramatic but yes I would, mate!
I've slaughtered a chicken before. And then ate it. Yumm.

It's something I've wanted to do for a while but a city boy like me has to look pretty hard to find a chance like that.. Maybe next time I go to Pakistan!

Very few people really know how to slaughter. It is not following a set of rules (do's and don'ts), it requires a pure heart like with everything else in Islam. If you are not treating the animal with the utmost respect and good manners, it is false and evidence of your lack of appreciation for what Allah has provided you. Sacrificing goes way beyond the material benefits, which is why we do so for new borns and other events.

Slaughter actually can be a cure for depression. Yes, a cure for depression. Also anyone considering suicide would benefit from a proper experience slaughtering an animal. Again, it is not just for the meat. CHARITY HEALS.

If you want to learn the proper way you must be taught by someone who knows.

Pick a weekend and come to Independence VA, I would be happy to show young adults the proper way. Older adults already know everything - or think they know.

If the UK Animal Rights Organisation reads this you'll be hunted down and eaten by them! Lol
