I think a little bit of respect and humbleness would go a long way.

The explanation in the video just makes things worse. Its utter and absolute nonsense.

Just one example should be sufficient to understand the stupidity. An event is organised by Christian Priests at christmas to celebrate the birth Of Jesus, son of God with hymns and prayers in accordance to that belief. A Muslim goes to that event but he is there to celebrate the birth of a Prophet and therefore him being there is absolutely fine despite the numerous utterances of shirk, as despite the organisers saying Jesus is the son of God, he doesn't believe that bit. So Christmas is okay but Easter isn't as Jesus didn't die on the Cross! What absolute drivel!

That would mean its okay for a Muslim to go to a Hindu temple and pray his namaz in front of the statue of Ram and say that he isn't worshipping Ram but Allah - its just that you think worshipping Ram is okay but I don't believe that bit, just that worshipping is okay and doing sajda in front of a statue treated as God by you doesn't matter!!

This weekend, i'll go to a wedding uninvited and eat there and if someone asks which side I have come from I'll say I'm not here for this wedding but my relatives in Pakistan have got married so I'm celebrating that here!!!!!!!!!!!

Our actions will be judged according to our intentions.Reading namaz in front of an idol will invalidate the worship, but it will not make ONE a mushrick [idol worshiper] unless you have the intention to prostrate to it and to worship it as your god. In The same way we can celebrate Christmas of PROPHET Isa [AS] as a prophet of God & not the son of God.

we live in a multicultural society with diverse faith communities. an event advertised to include all faith communities. in unity we work for peace. each has their own way to pray. so what is wrong when all faiths are together for peace; we let each community pray in their own way. it was peace for humanity which has many faiths. I really do not see the problem when you see that it was a multi-faith event for peace. we all practice our own religion. what about those who are christians, jews, hindus, sikhs, etc. we cannot impose our faith on them. we are doing a conference to unite and promote peace and harmony amongst different communities. each to their own.

Some of the previous clarifications unfortunately confuse the issue but you have clarified it very well.

One thing is for sure. This is a pure 'Ilmi' and 'Ijtihadi' Mas'ala. Those who are using harsh words for the person of Dr. Tahir ul Qadri, are guilty of 'backbiting'. There is no second opinion on that. As far as his initiative at Wembley Arena on the 24th of September, 2011 is concerned, ignorant and illiterate people will continue to throw ill comments, but these will die their own death and the movement started by Dr. Tahir ul Qadri will keep on flourishing.

Or maybe we they're thinking ahead of time and we can't understand it? Just think this is the same person who did many things in his life that we could not understand but now we appreciate them.
