salam

i arrived in saudi on Saturday last week. The flight was terrible as i was sitting niext to a salafi who was adamant i listen to the virtues of bin baz. After 4 hours of listening to the blind mans nonses i realised - 'EH waqia ee baaz nee ayaa'!!!

Any way the flight progressed ok until i realised i was sat right at the back - seat 49c to be exact and this was both good and bad.

Good as i was next to te kitchen and hence got served first.

bad as i was sitting next to the toilet and the prayer room - the result being that if i wasnt kept awake by the sound of the high pressure flush in the toilet i was being kept awake by the sounds of loud ameeeeeeen for all the trip!!!!

I got off the plane ad headed towards security where i was greeted by an over worked under aged young arab who said " four fingers" and pointed to a contraption infront of me. I placed my fingers on them and he began to ask me why i came to te kingdom. I replied that i was here to educate their youth in the ways of the modern world and impart my unappreciated wisdom i.e. i want to work as an english teacher!!!

I proceeded to the luggage collection and noticed a bag much like mine but it had no wheels, the handle had been ripped off and there was a massive tear with my y fronts hanging out!!!!

I picked up the bag whilst avoiding any eye contact with the locals and proceeded to the exit.

thats all for now i will continue soon
