I don't know what is wrong with his question... He asked a simple question on an Islamic forum and all he gets is ridiculed by others.

He doesn't say these things make one a wahabi, but he is saying most of the people cite these things when asked who a wahabi is, so his questions is, if someone does not do any of the things he mentioned, does that make him a kafir?

Was that too difficult to understand?

Anyway, I have not come across any alim from any sect claiming that these things are "compulsory" or one who does not do them is kafir.

There are bigger issues which are the cause of dissent between sunni's and wahabi...

these are optional things and half of them man made if you feel like do them if not dont but they dont make your eman weak and how you think they will make one kafir or whabai , kala brother you knew this all that they did not make anyone kafir etc but may be you want people go angry and argue on this topic .

cynical bhai if a sect claim that they are compulsury they still not and you right we never care the big issues and always arguing on little things.

You yourself don't know the 'importance' of these 7 common things and asking if its fard, wajib or musthab but at the same time you call it a Wahabi spotting formula?....strange.

I'm a YaNabi.com Team member and i would like to confess that

- I never did any Khtam on thursday
- I never did Urs Mubbarak
- I never arranged any Milad Sharif
- I don't do Fatiha
- I don't do Yarmi Sharif
- I havn't visited any Darbar for a long long time
- I don't do Niaz

If it makes me Wahabi, i'm happy with that.

Jazak Allah

Zahid-e-Tang Nazar Ney Mujhey Kaafir Jaana

isi zahid or kafir kay chuker main insan qaber tak ja pohnchta hay and in mullaon nay yeh keh ker kay 2 mulalon main murghi haram hay niaz or khtam ka krobar or chumkiya hay , there is nothing wrong making food read duas and distribute but making as farz is wrong or thinkng that if we do that we get this and that , yeh this and that to amal say milna hay and time is limited so in chezn main time waste kerny ki bjaye hamen kuch amal ker leny cahiyee .

DS bhai zahid or kafir to jo sumjhy ga ham khood in gair zarrori chezon ko apna ker khood ko ik big muslim sumjh bethy hain Allah hadiyet dey kay ham sab in mazhbi thekadaron say azaad hon jinhon nay ummah ko firqon main banta hay or akser ko jahil rukha hay taky asli haqeeqat paa na sakeen.

The real wahabi's are those with bad aqeedah, For example

Allah Swt Has a similar body to a human being

Allah swt is literally sitting on his throne

Allah swt powers are limited

The holy prophet s.a.w life is that of aalame barzakh

The holy Prophet S.a.w's body has mingled with the dust

They don't beleive in the awliyaa (saints) although they might believe that there scholers such as Mohammad ibn abulwahab was a saint but they don't believe in titles such as Ghauth, Qutub, Abdaal etc

They don't believe in Tasawwuf and rejecting Tasawwuf is rejecting a whole part of the deen i.e Tazkiya hence there are some serious issues about aqeedah when it comes to wahabis and same goes to shiah's
but the things you mentioned above have nothing to do with aqeedah there just mustahabs, not doing them doesn't make you a sinner however the problem is when you start considering lawful acts as unlawful

in normal life we dont hear many differnces between wahabi and sunnies but on net every 2nd topic is sunni wahabi why. And what you mentioned as there believs I dont think they all believe that as we got many bralvees who does many things not right same wahabi may be belive that but I think majority dont have them believes that is only bad mullahs propaganda bralve molves tries to let them down by saying thay all got this beliefe and wahabi molves tries to put our down by saying they do shirk etc .

brother what kind of answer is this if you don't do all 7 things mentioned, i'm not sunni, i think you need to find out what does mustahab means, it is not core of our aqeeda, i remember Dr tahir ul qadri saying in one of the bayan, today some scholar have taken some fiqh things and made it part of a core aqeeda, my only attention for the whole of this topic was to highlight that majority of our uneducated people only spot a wahabi with the 7 mustahab things and they also label sunni's who don't do these as wahabi's, i have guts to speak the truth, i'm not one of those who will predent this ignorance does not exists among our sunni's.

I think you need to look at the meaning of Aqeeda, the ahlus sunna wal jamat are those who follow imam Abu Al Hassan Ashaari and imam mansur Mathrudi in AQEEDA and in fiqh they follow imam abu hanifa, imam shafi, imam malik and imam ahmed bin humble, there is a hugh difference between AQEEDA AND FIQH, Aqeeda is the foundamental belief system of islam ie the correct belief in Allah Essence, Attributes and Actions, beliefs of prophets, angels, destiny, death, punishment in grave, jannat, paradise etc.. the consensus of the scholars said if your aqeeda is incorrect then none of your deeds will be accepted,

Fiqh covers how to give azan, pray, zakat, haj, fasting, trading, wudu etc..now the 7 things that i have mentioned follow in fiqh and they are categriosed ie fard, sunna, wajib, mustahab, unfortunately we are so busy attacking wahabi's and we forget our own household people, how much do they know about aqeeda, fiqh, yes they are uneducated but that is only excuss not to learn, same time these uneducated people can work on the machinery which requires programing etc.. but when it comes to islam the answer is a big NO, i'm too old, i'm uneducated and they are master in labeling people wahabi's

kalakhan , in this thread you want to know how to spot whabies and in other threads you want to know how to spot bralvees but I think you only want people to argue and have differnces between them , ist decide who you are wahabi , bralvee , then you can better ask the question and if you dont know who you are then stay calm and dont create fuss out of nothing.

This is for piara-madinah, if i critize our people and scholars does that mean i'm not a sunni, the 7 things i have mentioned is true that's what a lot of people think, may be you just want to turn blind eye to the fact, but that will not change the truth, i remember at workplace there was a deobandi brother, mashallah very pious and he would always advise everyone to pray, there were a lot of old pakistani men they used to say oh don't listen to that wahabi, when i asked why is he a wahabi, they would tell me the above 7 things mentioned, my dad thinks same, a lot of my relatives, my friends, their family think the same, and i've heard these sort of answers from lots of people, why don't you do bit of research yourself.

You called me a wahabi because you think only wahabi's have the right to critize our people and scholars, i tell you one thing wahabi's will critize their scholars if the don't do much, just for your peace of mind by the Grace of Allah I follow dawat e islami who strictly follow Alahazrat (r.a) and the service they are doing for the ummah is great, I be very honest with you I have not seen a very strict follower of quran and sunna as ameer e ahle sunnat moulana ilyas qadri, this man is a true follower of ahlus sunna wal jamat he has given ahlus sunna wal jamat strong strenght, because prior to dawat e islami, we the brehlvi's were known for 3 things, yarmi sharif, urs and milad sharif, Alhamudillah dawat e islami does all these 3 things and bring people to the path of piety.

Alhamudillah dawat e islami are the only one to critize people LIVE ON TV,

When some one hears the truth it's very bitter to digest, LONG LIVE DAWAT E ISLMAI, may Allah guide all brehlvi scholars to follow the path of dawat e islami
