Amazing, a sheikh saying women can sing and dance with women. Songs must be decent and decent words and dance must not be provocative and women must not reveal too much part of their body.

Masha'Allah. I heard this a while back  just after trying convince a sister that singing and dancing is allowed....She still thinks I was messing loll.

I have the heard the shaykh say (paraphrased):

"Read Quraan as much as you can and study fiqh, when you get tired go for a run and refresh your mind so you can start over."

I think the way word dancing is now associated to haraam activity has led to many muslims growing up thinking its not allowed.
