Can we have a section for prisoners?

As-salamu 'alaikum. :)

Well, I was looking at the various Muslim populated forums and noticed that only a couple or so feature an entire section dedicated to campaigning for our wrongly imprisoned Muslim brothers and sisters (as well as wrongly imprisoned non-Muslims). It would be nice if we as an Ummah showed some gheerah towards one another and our imaan against those willing to harm innocent human beings as well as those who conspire and spy on the Muslim communities on behalf of the Kuffar.

I'm thinking just bios of brothers and sisters such as Aafia Siddiqui, Tarek Mehanna, Ziyad Yaghi, links and news from their relevant sites such as FreeTarek.com, freedetainees.org, justiceforaafia.org/ and charities like CagePrisoners and Justice for Aafia Coaltion etc. A lot of work has been done by our Muslim sisters such as founding JFAC, writing letters to prisoners, fundraising events to raise awareness etc. May Allaah reward them abdundantly for their work, ameen.

What do you think, mods and admin(s)?

Noble idea, but you do realise the poor non brelvi prisoners will automatically be guilty and deserving of anything pinned on them.

Even if there is no specific section made, there is no reason why you cannot make new threads to share information and news about such cases and raise awareness on this community - so please do!

Suuuveeeeet, How are these people any different from million of muslims who are wrongly captivated by foreign forces in open air jails? Families are being slaughtered everyday without any reason in Kashmir, Iraq, Palestine etc. Why pick and choose something which emotionally appeals you more? I guess some muslims need to change their hypocritical attitude towards eachother first.
