Assalam u Alaikum,

There were some pretty funny clips, the punjabi-Bush ones are always exceptional!

The Devdas clip, maybe funny, but displays an actress (thats in the main picture, so how can anyone escape atleast from that?), which means whoever watches it gets indulged in bad-gazing, a Haraam act. That surely does not suit to be on an Islamic website. Thoughts?!

Not only did you watch the clip but also the movie Devdas and now you are here to deliver sermons about halal and haram. The English dictionary contains a specific word for such behavior, maybe you should look it up. Look under Hypo.....

Tahir bhai, I won't mind what you said. I didn't deliver a sermon, it was just a beneficial thought and I shared it. I am myself a weak man and do slip. I am sorry if I offended you. You have served us greatly and I have love for you in my heart. You have provided us with some really marvellous stuff and for that, you deserve our admiration. However, just for the record, I neither watched the clip nor the have I watched the movie Devdas. You are referring to the word "Hypocrite". Thanks, that is for my today's lesson, I shall try to overcome the hypocrisy I have in my acts Insha ALLAH, but need your prayers, so keep praying for your younger brother. Jazak ALLAH!

I apologize for wrongly assuming things about you.
You didn't watch that particular movie but you did recognize that it was an actress. Makes me wonder how come? In any case, If you are amongst those who have never watched a Movie then MashaAlalh, keep it up.

My personal experience is that those who in an Islamic setting are most vociferous opponents of movies in private the ones who watch most. I am simply fed up with this makeup of false piousness.

If my comments have hurt you then please forgive me. Lets both cheer up:

Not a funny clip but a greatly insightful one!

Amitabh in his the best performance of his career in my opinion highlights the hypocrisy of self-righteous individuals.

Not exactly a moral authority I would say. The quote however made me realize that we yell Mullah this and Mullah that to cover up our own shortcomings.

Well, atleast I can recognize a female from a male. :) I have heard about the movie Devdas. We all live in the same world. You get to know about things from gossips even if you are not into them. And sadly, I aint among those who have never watched a movie, I have; finding nemo, 9, up, behind the enemy lines, Kung Fu Panda, black hawk down, and some others too. What we can do is try to act as much as we can on Shari'ah.

Now, everything's fine. Cheers! :D

That's not accurate. Bhutto did both.

In fact, he sucked the blood of common man to such an extent that hardly any blood remained in the country. The dodgy Mullas are responsible for 10 rupees here and there, whereas as the corrupt politician of Pakistan (which most of them have been) is responsible for millions of dollars.
