The meat is certified by HFA (Halal Food Authority) who actively use stunning before slaughtering even though UK law does permit them to slaughter without stunning:

On the topic of Halal food outlets, Subway provide Halal sandwiches where the meat is not stunned:

I think we should be very careful in eating at these newly halal certified KFC's and inform others too. They are certified by an organisation HFA. They openly admit to using stunning and mechanical slaughter on their website

There is a worldwide conspiracy going on to make Muslim ‘integrate’ and eat ‘halal’ foods which are not slaughtered in the correct shariah manner.

 

Please be mindful when dining in such ‘halal’ places as also pork products are also served so how can it strictly be halal and yes, HFA and other authorities allow stunning cos they want to be ‘animal friendly’.

Please buy the meat from your local shops and don’t let these big chains like tesco, asda swallow the local halal butchers shop up like they have with the corner shops. Once these massive chains have us eating at the mainstreams shops who’s to say they won’t put profit over religious beliefs, after all aren’t they kaffir?  Why shouldn’t they put profit first?

The information of a non-musslim is not sufficient to change any meat from it's essence and establish it as halal. It will remain in it's essence.

The Hanafi Fuqaha agree that the information of a non-musslim to establish something haram or halal (Diyaanaat) is not considered.

The flaw here is that it is not KFC who are declaring it halal, but they have the HFA (Halal Food Authority UK) to do so. So in this way it is Muslims declaring it halal.

I work in the Poultry trade- HFA 100% dodgy! Do not eat if HFA approved as he approves anything! So KFC not Halal!
