Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

After searching on the forum names database, I have found that the name Aleeza means "joy" so perhaps the name Aleezay has a similar meaning although I am not entirely sure. Insha'Allah, I will look more into this and post if I am able to find the meaning. JazakAllah Khair.

Ma'assalaamah and Jum'ah Mubarak to all :)

Having googled the name, "Aleezay" apparently is a sweet berry and is a Pushto name (well this is what a member called Aleezay on another forum said about her name). If you are thinking of keeping it as a name for a child, then maybe Aleeza would be better, which means "joy" or it is better to keep a more Islamic name such as Fatima, A'isha, Khadijah, Ruqaiyyah, Hafsa etc. It is best to choose a beautiful name for a child which has a beautiful meaning so that Insha'Allah the name is reflected on the person's character.
