Views differ ... in many ways. So if I say it should be okay to listen to English music and Hindi music as it does not affect anyone. Words are great and sometimes when replaced in different scenarios it can make one feel the effects.

Naats have changed my life with my kids as we listen  to naats in the car all the time ... there is no change ...no compromise. It does not matter as what the naat is music or no music, we try and listen to the naats only. It has changed the way of our life and I do not think your opion in this case is right for me.

If i were asked, i would have answered as "Naat is all what we think and what we talk about Rasool Allah Sallal la ho alaihi wa aal-e-hi wasallam" because He my Lord has qualities and only qualities in His charachter, No one can point out a single mistake in His life nor in His character, as Hassaan bin Sabit R.A said "You seems to be created like the way You wished" thus who is the one who would wish to have negetive aspects in himself.

Salam,

Love begets love. What would a mother say if you say to mother not to love the child .... just feed it and look at it.  Today it is easy to say to love but we do not what to love we can love something bad and nasty. Naats always a treat to its listners as it takes them to the higher degree of spirtual pleasures.

What intentions you have --- so you reap.
