salaam, My family eats the Centrum Multivitamin Pills and they have a gelatin coating. My doctor is a Muslim and he has recommend them to us. Many of the Muslim families eat these pills, so isn't that haraam? Could you tell me some Multivitamin brand name that don't have gelatin or any other haraam product coating?

Wa'alaikumasalaam wa Rahmatullah sister. I'm not sure of what other brands do Multivitamin tablets that are suitable for us as Muslims, but if you go into your local health shop like Holland and Barretts, I am sure they will have one without gelatine. I had this problem with some iron tablets that my doctor prescribed and so I went to a health shop and got tablets that were suitable for vegetarians. Insha'Allah there will be an alternative and if you cannot find it, be sure to ask the staff in the shop and Insha'Allah they will help you. Jazakillah Khair.
