Salam, A few years ago my mother used to have dreams of my father being chased by a devil like person/creature. At the time he was very ill with cancer, and unfortunately passed away in Feb 2006. My cousin-sister Heena in India has also become ill with liver problems, but has also started to have similar dreams but she see's herself being chased by the devil. Her health is very slowly getting worse and we are very eager to help her to get better inshallah. I spoke to someone who told me that sometimes this happens from people who curse either the person or the family with black magic. I am pleading all brothers and sisters to help me and my family by giving any suggestions that could help us, and any people that we could speak to or see that would help us work out if black magic has been performed on us, or if there is another reason. My cousin is very young at the age of 21, and having one person in our family pass away was extremely hard for us, and we are trying our best to help my cousin, so please help us as much as you can, and remember my cousin Heena and my family and my late father Mohammed Samir in your dua's inshallah. First of all, the time of death is fixed. If it hadn't been the reason of black magic (if it was), it would have been a natural death or any other mediation of taking your father's soul. Destiny cannot be changed, no matter how many precautionary measures we take and plan. Allah Azzawajal Is The Best of Planners.

Walaikum assalaam Brother whatever it is!. Try to find out grave of a wali or shaheed in your area. And make it your routine to visit that place just after maghrib namaz. Along with you, bring the deceased person there. Say at least a tasbeeh of salwaat. And pray for your family. Ask them for your help. Always say there, that you don't have any other way out for Difaa. InshaAllah things will be fine sooner. Ask for guidance if anything wrong happened in your family. Surrender your family for protection by them.

Have strong faith in Allah & His ways. No magic can work until unless you commit some misdeeds. May Allah help you out aameen.

Veryy hard words, brother. It is true that the time of death is fixed but it can be change by the will of Allah and with dua of a sufi/wali.

And regarding to destiniy, again very had words, brother. If destiny cant be change so what is dua for?

Gangohi ka dushman you are very right. A Dua is so powerful it can change your destiny. Awliya have said Dua is so powerful the mind cannot even imagine it, do plenty of Dua's as hazoor (SalAllaho Alahi WaAlehi Wasalam) said it can change your life.

An Awliya's death is capable of bringing the dead back to life so weather or not death is fixed your Dua may be accepted by the MERCIFUL lord-Allah Taala.

Yes, I am aware that dua is capable of changing destiny, yet, this still depends upon the acceptance of prayers which is by the Will of Allah Azzawajal. A Shaykh once said that people state incidents of the Awliya Allah where Allah Azzawajal Let what they would will but they donot state the incidents where the prayers of the Awliya Allah were not accepted.

Anyhow, what I meant to say earlier was that Destiny cannot be changed by tadbeer (human planning) without the Will of Allah Azzawajal but can be changed by du'a with the Will of Allah Azzawajal as per the saying of our Beloved Master.
