Salam Tahir

Could you Plz provide a link to the speech regarding "namaz behind deobandis" by Tahir ul Qardri Saab, as I can not find it anywhere ?

I believe one needs to see the facts for themselves, before establishing an opinion.

Find the topic is Tahir Ul Qadri a Sunni or not? I think it was the most popular thread we have had and the subject has been covered in detail explaining his antics.. and the video is on there too.

By the way.. the brilliant video that brother Tahir prepared shows Tahir -ul-Qadri clearly and openly lying in the presence of Ulema.. because he says 2 totally contradicitng statements.. one where he says it is allowed behind wahabis..and one where he says it is not.

By the way there is a good website which has a link explaining everything he has said and the various Ulema that challenged him.

Brother Tahir have you got the video when him and Hazrat Muffaikr-e-Islam were in same mehfil in Nottingham?

Also there was a massive Sunni Conference in Norway where Hazrat Sahib gave a speech and afterwards tahir sahib did lots of bohtaan in his speech about Hazrat Sahib.. have you got it on video?

SALAM 'ALAIKUM brother this is about the salat behind wahabis to which Sheikh Tahirul Qadiri agrees

Beware of sunnipath.com, it recently posted a question by Faraz Rabbani, deobandi apologist, that salat behind wahabis is allowed. He quoted his ustad Mufti Ashraf Usmani (Pakistani deobandi star) and anwar shah kashmiri the deobandi who is supposed to have seen rasulullah every day in his dream.

Salam Tahir

Could you Plz show the "whole of the video".  As the clip stops at a crucial / vital moment i.e  it seems as if  Tahir ul Qardri Saab are about to give a further response but the clip stops.

He has been caught on candy camera ducking and diving questions ! So now all he has to do is repent in public for his mistake and not let shaitaan take the better of him. Like he did with his dreams !

Salam to my Elders, Learned, and bothers and sisters.

I have been distressed about some of the comments made about an "Ashiq-e-Rasool" sunni scholar Tahir ul Qadri saab.

Before I continue, for information purposes, I am not a mureed of Tahir ul Qadri saab.  My Pir-Saab are Ghadi-Nasheen at Morre-Shrif (near Meri), Pakistan.  So I am not bias in anyway "towards or against" Tahir ul Qadri saab.

My Allah Paak and YaRasoolAllah (saw) know my intentions with regards to this topic, which is to speek the truth about and defend all Sunni Scholars.  ( I am not worthy of this, but InshaAllah I will die trying to do so

Having watched the 11min video clip which is being used against Tahir ul Qadri saab, it is very clear to me as a rational person that the video clip is completely inconclusive as a piece of evidence.

I base my opinion on the following facts:

The video clip starts off with, what appears to be a conference hall of some sort. In which Tahir ul Qadri saab are speeking in "general-terms" about reading Namaaz behind certain Imams (and point to someone next to him), and state that they have read behind him for the sake of unity.  A member of the audience questions them about this, and they reply "for the sake of unity".

The location within the video clip then moves to a room, in which there are Other Sunni Alims and Tahir ul Qadri saab. The first allegation is that the other Alims oppose Tahir ul Qadri saab about reading Namaaz behind a deobandi (and have videos to this effect). And that this is not allowed by the evidence of Ala Hazrat (ra).

The first allegation is refuted and rebutted by Tahir ul Qadri saab, by stating that "their actions are justified by the fact that they did not know", that the person whom they were reading behind was a deobandi (i.e. bhad aqeeda).  On this point, I have heard myself at Lea bridge rd Mosque (5 or 6 yrs ago) by Muffekirre Islam (whom I love and respect as being Ashiq-e-Rasool sunni scholar) say that, e.g if you are out of your local area and go into a Mosque, and do not know the aqeeda of the Imam, it is permissible to read behind him.  To the best of my knowledge, this doctrine is excepted by Ahle Sunnat Wal Jammat.

The second allegation is that, one of the other Alims states that he told Tahir ul Qadri saab on a particular occasion about a Imam being deobandi before they read Namaaz behind him.  Tahir ul Qadri saab deny this.  After these comments the video clip stops, so we do not get to see or hear Tahir ul Qadri saab's full reply to this allegation.  The video clip is simply incomplete, inconclusive and misleading, in terms of the validity of argumentation against Tahir ul Qadri saab.

In short, with regards to the first allegation Tahir ul Qadri saab do not hold the aqeeda of reading behind known bhad-aqeeda in principle, and with regards to the second allegation we have not heard their side of the story in full.  Basically it's Tahir ul Qadri saab's word against the word of the other Alims in the room.

If all the negative comments and arguments about or against Tahir ul Qadri saab are based on the strength of this evidence (i.e. the video clip), it is clear to see and understand that these comments have "no foundations", let alone a "substantiated platform".

Allah Paak and YaRasoolAllah (saw) know the truth about everyones aqeeda.

May Allah Paak by the vasila of YaRasoolAllah (saw) unite all Ashiq-e-Rasool sunni scholars and forgive me for my mistakes. Ameen

Mashallah!!!!

At last we have some rational thinking on the matter!! I second the brother's comments above. Indeed I have around 150 Video Cassettes and some of Professor Tahir ul Qadri's books in my possession!! I will also stress that I am no mureed or member of his organisation, but his quality is simply outstanding, a master in any field!! He has on numerous occasions said/confirmed the aqeeda of Ahle Sunnat wal Jama'at which is that Namaaz/Salaat behind a Gustaakh 'Imaam' is not valid for his own Namaaz is not valid, let alone the muqtadi's!!

Let's stop this infighting and applaud the truly great talents that Qadri Saahib has !! He is a man with vision and considerable intellect and a mission to fulfil. Let not personal/political issues sideline our thoughts and let us create much needed harmony amongst Ahle Sunnat. I saw his lecture at Masjid Ghamkol Shareef in Pakistan and in Birmingham--what a gathering and lecture!!

If Qadri Saahib is NOT a Sunni, then I don't know who is!!! Why else did Sufi Abdullah Khan Saahib (Khalifa of Zinda Pir Saahib) invite him to deliver a lecture at that Masjid, which is a centre of Sunnism!! Even Mufti Gul Rehmaan Saahib was sat right in front of Qadri Saahib!

Let us put aside this petty squabbling and move on to stengthening Ahle Sunnat and let us make use of the innumerable talents of Qadri Saahib. You dont have to be his follower to realise the great works that he is doing around the world. Let us all swallow the bitter pill of arrogance, conceit and move on!! No one has a monopoly on Sunnism. I commend Qadri Saahib to all Sunni adherents!!.

Allah Haafiz!

A`ouw zo billa iminshaitaa nirah jeem... Bismilla irah maa nira heem,

Bay naboowatay ka YA RASOOL ALLAH...
Wa bay walah yahtay ka YA ALI YA ALI YA ALI...

Aslamoalaikum wa rah matullah he wa bara kato ho wa maghfirato ho wa ajroon azeem,

I am very supprised at both of you... It is not for you to decide what is evidence and what is not. A Alim e deen has been caught trying to mis lead the Ummah. To him " for the sake of global unity would it not be good to pray behind all that read the kalima and we share the Kaaba with"? What is the meaning for the sake of unity? then how is it possible for a person to be head of a Sunni tanzeem and not know who he is praying behind. The rules for Alims are different, for ordinary people if they do not know who they are praying behind it is acceptable but the Alims MUST know ...Otherwise they might be praying behind the Qadianis. And the next thing we have is that people start using them as an excuse to pray behind the baad aqeedah`s.

Now inregards to to saying so and so Alim accepted him as a sunni...Shall I expose them and their disloyalty/disunities ? In Birmingham Masjid Ghamgolia the Alims that mostly gather there are Kharji/Nasibi type the types that dis-like the real SYEDS ... Why are they not in good-terms with Ulaad of Pir Syed Jamaat Ali Shah (ra) ?  So for those Alims that create disunity do you think that they are in DR Sahibs good books ! and you are using them to prove DR Sahib as a Sunni...

Between the two I know (Mufti) Gul Rahmaan to have been educated by a DEBOBANDI and he even said "May ALLAH (swt) send him to janaat because he was my Ustaad" !... And when Irfan Shah Mashadi was saying to the deobandi /wahhabi KAFAR KAFAR KAFAR infront of the MUFTI and the MUFTI did not even blink an eye-lid ! What a cheap MUFTI he is ? Anyone is free to ask MUFTI  inregards to his feelings about deobandi and his deobandi teacher ... TWO faced Alims have no right to lead us !

Now lets also go to the topic as to why DR Sahib wants to unify... What are the benefits for DR Sahib and his political party ? So for him to succeed politically he has to take this attitude towards the Baad Aqeedas.

I do not see the need for anyone to explain and dismiss the video evidance when the DR Sahib and his followers accept that it OK to read behind deobandi/wahhabi/shia imams.Why do you not go and make a VIDEO requesting him to answer to these allegations! I am sure that he is not going to be shy from cameras now. After all he was the one who promoted video photography in Masjids and His magazines!
We have a lot more evidance than that video... What if we ask the shias what do they think of him and then ask the deobandi... And do you know what the answer will be ? they will say they like him ! and when the ENEMIES of DEEN UL HAQ like a person who calls himself a SUNNI then we doubt him being a SUNNI ... Just on these grounds ...

DR Sahib is being like "You scratch my back and I will scratch yours" but in this case when the DR Sahib scratches their backs his hands and body becomes unclean (napaak) NOT fit to lead the PURE AHLE SUNNAH MUSLIMS anymore !

I use to respect him myself but now I do not because I cannot accept anyone who justifies praying behind the Ghutakhs...

Jazaak Allah Khairan....
Ali (as) e Imam e manasto manum ghulaam e Ali (as)

Syed Hasnain-Qadiri Saahib, As-salaamu Alaykum.

You write and I quote ''It is not for you to decide what is evidence and what is not''---However, YOU,  in your infinite wisdom have obviously decided WHAT ACTUALLY IS EVIDENCE!!!

No wonder we cannot unite!! It is obvious you, along with many on this site, have taken a disliking to Qadri Saahib, whatever the reason, so why push it down people's throats!! It would appear that you have taken on the responsibility of deciding who is a Sunni and who is NOT. If you are correct in your assertions, may Allah SWT reward you abundantly in this Duniya and the Aakhira--and if I am wrong in my views, then may Allah guide me and show me wisdom through your Wasilah!!

I believe this topic has run its course!! Allah Haafiz!!

as salam 'alaikum brother Sajid Manzoor,

Please do not argue with brother Qadiri, or else a viscious circle will start of arguments and attacks. Please refrain. If yu do not believe me yu will see in all the past threads of so many people arguing with him and the thread ends in insults, swearing, bad words and finally a lock by brother Tahir.
Please speak in general and to everybody instead of pinpointing a person.

Brother Qadiri has great love in his heart for the ahlul bayt, so he defends them and our sunni 'aqeedahs against all those bad 'ulamas out there. That is the gift to him from Allah subhanahuu. So please understand this.

Please contribute to the topic of unity instead of tit for tat answering him or judging him

As-Salaamu Alaykum to ALL brothers and sisters!!

I have NOT intended to attack/judge anyone, in particular Syed Hasnain-Qadiri Saahib--no doubt he is a Staunch Sunni and a devout Syed, all of whom I have the utmost respect for. I was merely trying to put across a rational way of moving forward to create a United Sunni-ism and pointing out that NO ONE should be judging any other Sunni Alim-e-Deen and creating friction between ourselves---we have enough problems to sort out!! Knowing Brother Syed Hasnain's character from his many posts on this site, I am sure he will not have taken my words in the wrong context and anyway we are both probably ''Old and Ugly Enough'', as they say colloquially,  not to take offence.

I hope that this softens your heart Syed Saahib and that it brings a smile to your face!!

I am 36 years old and lived in the UK since 1975 and in that time, I have visited many gatherings/conferences/milaads/ghyarweens/urs mahfils and Itehaad Conventions involving many distinguished Sunni Ulema from the Indo-Pak subcontinent and I think I have a fair idea of the power struggles, internal wranglings, the juxtapositioning for positions of influence and the prickly desire for leadership that goes on amongst some of our noble Ulema and Mashaa'ikh. All my humble request is that we give up this destructive quest for one Sunni group's dominance over another. We are all Sunnis, (I am not talking about 'the others'), so let us just move on!!

I trust this will clear the air!!

Khudaa-Haafiz and Eid Mubaarak to all my brothers and sisters over the coming days!!!

Brother Sajid,

The power struggles, internal wranglings, juxtapositioning yu mention is obviously HARAAM  in islaam and this has been proved based on fiqh.
If our 'ulama do this then they are not 'ulama but dunya politicians, they obviously then dont follow TASAWWUF

TASAWWUF means suppression of the NAFS, THE EGO, not to inflate it with greed or dunya, or status or pride

if yu are running after dunya why do yu say then that yu are a sufi? or yu follow tasawwuf? why do yu say that yu are Qadiri?or Chishti? or Mash-hadi or whatever?

Brother Sajid please just dont say that they should give up these evils, but say that they are not following TASAWWUF

They are doing haraam things. All such 'ulama must be removed unless they repent

We are sunnis, so we are sufis too!! We should practice TASAWWUF, Tazkiyatu Nafs.

We will not inflate our nafs with dunya. If an 'aalim runs after dunya (status, position, fame, followers) then he is not an 'aalim

Sheikh Nuh was once asked as to why he does not go out for mureeds, he said he does not need mureeds, but the mureeds need him. subhanallah!!!!!!!!!
