As-salato as-salamo alaika Ya Rasulallah
Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

Allahumma Salli Wasallim Wabarik Ala Sayyidina Muhammadinil
Faatihi Lima Ughliqa Wal Khaatimi Lima Sabaka Wan Naasiril
Haqqa Bil Haqqi Wal Haadi Ila Siraatikal Mustaqeemi Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wa Ala Aaali Wa Ashabihi Haqqa Qadrihi Miqdaarihil Azeem

All praise is due to Allah and Slaams on those servants who were selected to serve the Deen.I( Imam Jalaaludeen As-Suyuti) have collected these 60 Ahaadith and named them Revival of the Heart through the Excellence of the Ahlul Bayt

Hadith No1

Imam Saeed Mansoor(ra) narrates in his Sunan on the authority of Sayyiduna Saeed bin Jubair(ra) concerning the tafseer on the above command of Allah in the Holy Quran that the word "Qurba" refers to the household of Sayyiduna  Rasoolullah(pbuh)


Hadith No2

Imam Ibne Al-Munzir(ra),Imam Ibne Abi-Khaatim(ra) and Imam Ibne Mardawiyya(ra) in their Tasfeer and Imam Tabraani(ra) in his Moh'jame-Kabeer all narrate on the authority of Sayyiduna Abdlullah ibne Abbas(ra) who said when this Ayat was revealed"Say (Oh my Beloved Rasool),I do not ask any favours from your beside exercising love and affection with my family"

The Sahaba asked the Beloved Nabi(pbuh),"Yaa Rasoolallah(pbuh)!Who are the people of your family that its Waajib for us  to love and respect?"He replied,"Ali,Faatima and their children"

Hadith No4

The following Hadith-Shareef has been acknowledged Sahih(sound) by Imam Ibne Hambal(ra),Imam Tirmidi(ra),Imam Nisaa'ee(ra) and Imam Haakim(ra) all narrate it on the authority of Sayyiduna Muttalib bin Rabee(ra) that the Holy Prophet(pbuh) said:I swear an Oath on Allah that Imaan will not enter the heart of a Muslim until he does not love my family for the sake of Allah.

Hadith No5

Imam Muslim(ra),Imam Tirmidi(ra) and Imam Nisaa'ee(ra) all narrate from Sayyiduna Zaid Ibne Arqam(ra) that Sayyiduna Rasoolullah(pbuh) said:I remind you of the fear of Allah regarding my Ahlul Bayt.

Hadith No6

Imam Tirmidi(ra) has rated this Hadith as Hasan with authority and Imam Haakim(ra) narrates from Sayyiduna Zaid ibne Arqam(ra) that Sayyiduna Rasoolullah(pbuh) said:Verily I am to leave behind those things for you that as long as you hold fast onto them,you will not go astray.(Firstly)The book of Allah(Al-Quran) and (Secondly) my Family and these will always remain together until they meet me at the Fountain OF Kauthar(on the day of Judgement)Then afterme,observe what relation you have with them.

Hadith No7

Imam Abdu bin Hameed(ra) narrates in his Musnad from Sayyiduna Zaid Ibne Thaabit(ra) that Sayyiduna Rasoolullah(pbuh) said:Verily I am to leave behind those things for you that as long as you hold fast onto them,you will not go astray.(Firstly)The book of Allah(Al-Quran) and (Secondly) my Family and these will always remain together until they meet me at the Fountain OF Kauthar(on the day of Judgement)

Imam Ahmad(ra) and Imam Abu-Yahla(ra) narrates from Sayyiduna Abu-Saeed Al-Khudri(ra) that the Glorious Prophet of Islam(pbuh) said:Undoubtedly,I will shortly be called(towards Allah).Therefore,I will depart from you,and verily,I am to leave two great and excellent things behind(with you)One is the kitaab of Allah and the other is my Ahlul Bayt.And the most gracious and All-knowing Allah has informed me that these two things will always remain together until they meet me at the Fountain of Kauthar(on the day of Judgment)Then after me,observe what relation you have with them.

Hadith No9

Imam Tirmidi(ra) rates this Hadith Shareef as Hasan and so did Imam Tabraani(ra) and both narrate from Sayyiduna Abdullah ibne Abbas(ra) that Sayyiduna Rasoolullah(pbuh) stated:Love Allah because He feeds you with His bounties and because of Allah love,Love me because of my love,Love my Ahlul Bayt.

Imam Bukhari(ra) narrates on the authority of Sayyiduna Abu Bakr As-Siddiqu(ra) that the Beloved Habeeb of Allah(pbuh) states:Take special precaution with the Household of Muhammad(pbuh)

Hadith No11

Imam Tabraani(ra) and Imam Haakim(ra) on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibne Abbas(ra) narrate that the Holy Prophet(pbuh) states:O children of Abdul-Muttalib!I have asked three Duas for you from Allah.Firstly,to keep your hearts steadfast on Islam.Secondly,to grant knowledge to those who are ignorant so that they may guide the misguided to the path of Deen and thirdly,to make you kind and generous amongst yourselves.So if a person stands between Rukn and Maqaam at the Holy Kaaba and performs Salaah and keeps fast and then dies in a state that he bears malice for the Family of Sayyiduna Muhammad(pbuh) then he has entered the Fire of Hell.

Hadith No12

Imam Tabraani(ra) narrates on the authority of Sayyiduna Abdullah  Ibne Abbas(ra) that the Beloved Prophet of Allah(pbuh) said:Malice to Bani Haashim(Muhaajir) and Ansaar is kufr and hatred for Arabia is hypocrisy.

Imam Ibne-Adi(ra) records in his Al-Ikeel on the authority of Sayyiduna Aba-Saeed al-Khudri(ra) that Sayyiduna Rasoolullah(pbuh) said:Whoso has malice for us Ahlul Baty,is a Munafiq(Hypocrite)

Hadith No14

Imam Ibne-Habban(ra) in his Sahih and Imam Haakim(ra) in Mustadrak narrates on the authority of Sayyiduna Abu-Saeed Al-Khudri(ra) that the Prophet of Allah (pbuh) said:I swear an oath by Him who controls my life that whoever has malice for us Ahlul Bayt,Allah will send him to the fire of hell.

Hadith No15

Imam Tabraani(ra) mentions that Imam Al-Hasan ibne Ali (a.s.) told Moawiya ibne Khudij:I warn you against hating us, for surely the Messenger of Allah (pbuh)has said:None hates us and none envies us except that he will be chased away from the Hauz (Pool) by maces of fire.


Hadith No16

Imam Ibne-Adi(ra) mentions and Imam Baihaqi(ra) in his book Shuayb Al-Imaan relate from the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) thus:One who is not cognizant of my progeny and the Ansar belongs to one of the three groups: Either he is a hypocrite, or an illegitimate born or he was conceived when his mother was menstruating.

Hadith No17

Imam Tabraani(ra) in his Awsat narrates from Sayyiduna Abdullah ibne Omar(ra) that Sayyiduna Rasoolullah(pbuh) said"It is essential on you to love and respect Me and my Ahlul Bayt"

Hadith No18

Imam Tabraani(ra) in his Awsat from Sayyiduna Imam Hasan ibne Ali(as) that Sayyiduna Rasoolullah(pbuh) stated:It is essentail on you to love and respect Me and my Ahlul Bayt.Anyone who meets Allah in a state that he loves us then he will be sent to Jannah by our intercession.I take an oath in the Name of Him who controls my life!No person will benefit from his good deeds until such time he does not recognize our rights(respect and love us)

Hadith No19

Imam Tabraani(ra) in his Awsat narrates from Sayyiduna Jaabir Ibne Abdullah(ra) that Sayyiduna Rasoolullah(pbuh) once addressed us as follows:O People! One who hates us Ahlul Bayt will be gathered alongwith the Jews by Allah on the Day of Qiyamat.

(This means he will die with no Imam)

Hadith No20

Imam Tabraani(ra) in his Awsat narrates from Sayyiduna Abdullahibne Jaafar(ra) that once Sayyiduna Rasoolullah(pbuh)addressed us:O the sons of Hashim! I pray to Allah that you may always be generous and merciful. And I pray to Him that He may guide the misguided ones from you, and bestow tranquility upon the fearful ones, and satiate the hungry ones. By the one who controls my life none can achieve tranquility except that he loves you and loves you for the sake of me. And wishes that I will intercede for him to be allowed to enter Paradise. But all of the sons of Abdul Muttalib are not like this

Hadith No21

 

Imam Ibn Ali Sheb(ra)a and Imam Musdad(ra) in their respective Musnads, and Sayyiduna Al-Hakim(ra) Sayyiduna Al-Tirmizi in the book Nawadirul Usool and Abu Yaala and Tibrani relate from Sayyiduna Salmah bin Alkao(ra) that the Messenger of Allah(pbuh) said: “The stars are the safety for the inhabitants of the sky and my Ahlul Bayt are the safety for my Ummah

 

Hadith No22

 

Sayyiduna Al-Bazzaz(ra) narrates from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayra(pbuh0 that the Holy Prophet(pbuh)) remarked: “Surely I leave behind me amongst you two things, you will not deviate if you follow them. (They are) The book of Allah and my relatives. And they will not separate till they reach me at the pool (Hauz Kauthar)

Hadith No23

Sayyiduna Al-Bazzaz(ra) quotes Imam Ali (a.s.) that the Prophet of Allah (pbuh).) said: “Certainly I am to die shortly! And I leave among you two weighty things. The book of Allah and my Ahle Bayt (a.s.). If you follow them you will not go astray.” 

 

Hadith No24

 Sayyiduna Al-Bazzaz(ra) narrates through Abdullah ibne Zubair(RA) that the Holy Prophe(pbuh)t mentioned: “The simile of Ahle Bayt is like that of the Ark of Noah (a.s.). One who boards it, is saved and those who leave it are drowned.”

Hadith No25

Sayyiduna Abbas(ra) has also mentioned, according to Sayyiduna Al-Bazzaz(ra) , the following prophetic tradition: “My Ahle Bayt  are like the Ark of Noah, whoever boards it is saved whoever remains aloof is drowned

Hadith No26

According to Tibrani, Abu Zar (may Allah be pleased with him) has quoted the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) thus: “My Ahlul Bayt among you is like the Ark of Noah (peace be upon him) among the people of Noah. Those who board it are saved and those who keep aloof from it are destroyed.” And my Ahlul Bayt are like the door of repentence of the Bani Israel (whosoever entered it was saved)
