It means we recite Qur'an in same manner as Naat. It is very weird thing to say if you ask me.

Salaams

Brother the verse is:

Ham Naat Ki Soorat Mein Qur'an Sunatay Hein

and it is from Mehboob Ki Mehfill ko naat. I think to a personal level and i am no scholar but we recite the Qur'an with respect and when recite the Qur'an we put in as much energy into it as we do with a naat. Brother this verse was explained by my Hafiz Sahib but I have forgotten what they said.

Insha'Allah someone will enlighten us

an example:

all the naats of alahazrat are in the lights of QURAN and AHADEES...

so we read naats to put more lights on ayats....

to conclude...i can say we explain the quran via naats....

correct me if m wrong. .

Dear Brother Bellal and others

aslaam o alikum,

Brother Bellal, your interpretation is right. If you read Quran with love of Prophet PBUH, then whole Quran is Naat of Rasool Allah. That is what poet means,

aaqa ke sana khawani dar asal abaadat hay
hum naat ke surat mein Quran sunatay hein

is aas pey jeeta hoon keh day koyeee aa kar
Chal tujh ko sarkaar, madeenay mein bulaatay hein

Allah kay khazanoon kay waris hein nabi sarwar
ye such hay Niazi hum, sarkaar ka khaatay hein

I do not think it is kalaam of Ala Hazrat. It is very foumous kalaam by Abdul Sattar Niazi Sahib

Please corect me if I am wrong. Remember me in your prayers.

Waslaam

Bilal
