I do have that book and checked it earlier,there is no sign such a title nor have i found such a statement in there(yet).

Yes you are right it seems like very dubious material.

Dont forget the ***** school at that time was split and fatwa was only passed on 4 maulvis of ***** and whoever followed them, not on all students /teachers of *****,some of whom  might have had the correct aqeeda.

Which is clearly clutching at straws and a very desparate attempt to clear their wrongs.

Dont forget Ala Hadrat(Radi Allah Anhu)  also refrained from passing fatwa of kufr on ismail dehlvi(although his shaikh hadrat Khairabadi)did pass a fatwa on him.

Why do they not post the rest of fatwa mehria which deals with hazar nazir,ilme ghaib,milad and other sunni beliefs that are contained within it?

Tell them that the contentious issue is aqaid and there disrespectful/kufria statements in the books of a few of their top scholars, not on the collective war effort or jihad against the british raj,it was on these that Ala Hadrat (Radi Allah Anhu) and other scholars  gave a fatwa against them.

Tell them to bring proof where Hadrat Pir Syed Mehr Ai Shah(Radi Allah Anhu) went against Ala Hadrat(Radi Allah Anhu)  on these particular issue.

They wont find any i guarantee you!

If they do not want to follow Ala Hazrat (ra), then following Pir Mehr Ali Shah Sahab (ra) instead.

 

Either way, the Aqeedah of the Ahl-e-Sunnah remains the same.
