I was always cautious when thinking that Musharraf MIGHT be the person who would give the People of Pakistan a new Hope. But by everyday it is becoming clear that General Musharraf is following an agenda that is NOT given to him by the People of Pakistan. But by somebody sitting outside the country.
The latest step that Musharraf has taken regarding the Issue of Kashmir tells me that he is not following the wishes of the People. He is betraying the blood of all the shuhadaa and martyrs. Musharraf must remember that the struggle and the sacrifice of the Kashmiries is not futile.
Musharraf is going down the same path as the other "leaders". I feel sorry for the People of Pakistan. I am myself of the Pakistani origin. It really hurts me to see what is happening. The People need to get rid of all these so called "MULLAHS" and clean up the country. People need to come forward, stop worrying, stop waiting for the saints to help them, Trust in ALLAH, and take matters into their own hands. . I think it is the time for them to realise that may be there is something missing in their Imaan. Wasalaam.

Musharraf is NOT a qadiaani. Pakistanies aren't THAT stupid to let a qadiani lead a Muslim country.

Mushy is a Syed Sunni. Thats on any decent profile. Qaadianis are not allowed to reach that high up in the Pakistani Armed Forces.
Musharraf is being smart. He realizes that Pakistan can not hope to take over Kashmir by force, and so is pursuing peace. They'll get a fair deal out of it. Stop thinking with your Mullarized POV's and accept the inevitable. A peace in Kashmir which effectively assures the long standing LOC.

Brother J. Smith. Judging from your name, I would assume that you're not a muslim. But my assumptions can be wrong.
But in your next reply, could you please comment a bit on the Hijab "ban" by the french.
HAVE WE FORGOTTEN KARBALA?
Is it all about getting a fair deal out of things? What happened to the Bilaali Spirit of Muslims??
Listen man. If you're not a muslim, it would be very hard for you to understand this. Thousands of our brothers and sisters have died in Kashmir. And they are constantly dying in kashmir, palestine, iraq, afghanistan and other places. They didn't die because they wanted to get a "GOOD deal out of it."
Its the mentality like yours that has corrupted the mind of muslims. In times like this, there is no compromise. Its either now or never.
Islam has always taught us and the History has proved, that Kuffar always help the kuffar against Muslims. We are standing against all the odds, we will see as the time roles. Insha Allah, Islam will prevail. The day will come when the kuffar will be helplessly lookin at each other.
While we're at it, lets talk abour Badr, Uhud, Khandaqq, Khaibar, and Karbala and many more lessons of this kind.
Lets not forget 313 against 10,000.
Lets not forget, "A brave man will die rather than live like a coward."
Wasalam to all.

Thats just fundo jazz buddy! The ground realities mean that a peace deal in Kashmir will SAVEA more lives then any other course of action. Those who died fighting in Kashmir, fair go to them-they'll get the rewards, but why should we continue to throw Pakistani lives at a conflict which we cannot possibly win. We will not, as things stand, over run IOK and thus peace is the smartest option.
On the French scarf ban:
I think its unfortunate. It goes against the basic freedoms is alleges to protect. Personally I feel that those who want to wear the headgear should be free to do so-but on the flip side, those who dont shouldnt be forced to do so by fundo type brothers and fathers. A completely fair playing field. No fair person would oppose such a suggestion.

Life and death is from Allah. You do what is needed to be done.
See. I told you. THIS is the mentality that is the problem. Lack of trust in ALLAH is the problem.
Dear brother, This world has TWO standards. One for the kuffar, and the other for the muslims. Why are you still babbling about getting a "fair" deal? Lets see if the palestinians will ever get a fair deal.
You talk about realities yet yourself you live in a dream world talking about getting a fair deal.
Don't forget what the indians were thinking when they were piling up their nukes.
