What is the meaning of name 'SUDAIS' Please let me know the meaning of SUDAIS. I have seen a name 'AL-SUDAIS' in some islamic TV chanel.

You should select a name that has a significant meaning or is based on an eminent personality of Islam. I always advise people to ask an 'alim when naming their child, as I know of some people who kept names and shown some regret afterwards.

If it is simply a diminutive (tasgheer) of "sixth" meaning a "small sixth", then I would not advise such a name as it has no particular Islamic meaning nor do I recall it as a name of any blessed predecessor. In fact, apart from this case, I have never heard of anyone having this name.
