Salaam,

As promised I said I was going to write an extensive boook analysing Mawlid Celebrations!

Unfortunately, due to it's voluminous nature of research I have only completed a section for it's research on the Validity of Celebrating Eid-Milad-Un-Nabi (Sallalaho Alaihi Wasallam).

The book has been written with extensive proofs and footnotes to help where needed and I hope this will serve as a precious jewel for those needing clarification on this matter!

The full version will be Inshallah! finished for next Milaad Sharif, Insha'allah!

Please pray that Allah Almighty accept this small effort of mine and make it a means of intercession on the Day of Judgement! Ameen!

If you need a hand, you have my email? its at the bottom anytime, perhaps we can narrate some of the most valued hadith sharif's and saying's regarding milad sharif, i have recently completed reading a book written by Ammah syeda Hajjah Amina Adil  (wife of my murshid paak)

Its a excellent and englighting book! a must read for sunni's i heard there working on translations will keep you updated; here is a quote;

Abdullah bin Salam reported:


On the night the Prophet  was born, I was sitting together with a learned Jew. He raised his face to Heaven and spoke to me, "Ya Ibn Salam! This very night at Mecca the Arabian Prophet, Muhammad ibn Abdullah  is to be born who will illuminate the world." I said to him, "What do these words of yours mean, how do you know such a thing?" He answered me, "I have been watching the skies, and I see now such a light as has not been seen since the world began.

That is how I come to know of this event." I then entered a dark room, and I saw seventy candles burning in it so that it was brilliantly lit. I knew then that unusual things were happening. When I came to Mecca, I asked about that night, and I found that the Jewish scholar had told me the truth. It had indeed been the night in which the Prophet Muhammad  came into this world.
