Questions pertaining to the authenticity of the Hadith of Madinah al-‘Ilm

Assalamu Alaikum everyone :D I do not know if this question has already been answered by the ulama and students of knowledge on this board. In relation to the famous hadith of Madinatul Ilm "I am the city of knowledge and Ali (AS) is its gate" What do the ulama rule the authenticity of this hadith as? Are there any english lectures about this topic on this site? I think i once saw a lecture being promoted on this site bout the hadith by Shaykh Al-Ninowy. Do any of you brothers and sisters know where I can find that? or something like that?

salambro, as far as im aware the hadith is authentic, and ive heard many responsible scholars cite this hadith when talking about the greatness of hazrat Ali (ra). howerver I am not aware of the degree of authentication as there are many different levels of authentication
