Would anyone kindly tell me where there is mention in the Quran e Kareem of Hadhrat Abu Bakr Siddique RadhiAllah Anho.

I need to know this for a small project I am preparing.

Thanks

Taken from the translation of the Holy Quraan by Ahla Hazhrat (ra)
Kanz-ul-Eeman Surah Al-Tauba ayah 40

If you help him (The beloved Prophet) not, then no doubt, Allah helped him, when on account of the mischief of the infidels, he was to go out with only two souls, when they both were in the Cave, and when he said to his companion 'Grieve not, no doubt Allah is with us', then Allah sent down His satisfaction on him, and helped him with armies which you did not see, and put down the words of the infidels. It is the word of Allah, alone which is supreme, and Allah is Dominant, Wise.

As from the above ayah you will note that Abu Bakr (ra) is indicated as the companion in the cave. The words 'Grieve not, no doubt Allah is with us' reveals that Allah swt was with them both. In other words was their protector.

There is an ayat at the end of Surah Al Fath ... which starts as "Muhammad Ar-Rasool Allah ......... "
This ayat includes significance of the Prophets Companions .. Insha Allah you will get some help from there !
Allahumma aslih Ummata Muhammad
Allahumma farrij `an Ummati Muhammad
Allahumma Rham Ummata Muhammad [salla Allahu alayhi wa sallam ]
