A Christian Priest and Ameer e Ahle SunnaT
Alhamdullilahi (Az’zawajal), many non Muslims throughout the world have accepted Islam at the hands of the Mubaligheen (Preachers) of Dawat-e-Islami and will continue to do so.
Countless non Muslims have accepted Islam at the hands of Ameer e Ahle SunnaT.
One event which is exceptionally faith enlightening is being presented.
On Thursday the 26th of Shawal ul Mukaram 1420 in the afternoon a Christian priest with his wife came to the threshold of Sheikh e Tariqat Ameer e Ahle SunnaT Maulana Muhammad Ilyas Attar Qadiri Razawi.
Accordingly the Priest narrated: In this month alone I have had 4 dreams on separate occasions. In each dream I see a pious looking senior individual who has a thick beard and is wearing a Green Imama (Turban) on his head. He said to me each time
“My name is Abdul Qadir and I am the king of Jilan, Go to Attar!”
During this period I also saw Hazrat Isa Ruhullah (Alaihis Salaam) and he said to me
“If you are looking for salvation then go to Attar”
But I did not know who Attar was! So how was I supposed to find him?
I opened up the bible and after searching for a while I came across an event which concerned a woman who was known as Attar. Ya’ani (e.g.) she used to sell Attar (Perfume/Scent). She loved Allah (Az’zawajal) very much and on one occasion she used very expensive Perfume to wash the feet of Hazrat Isa Ruhullah (Alaihis Salaam). Nevertheless it was impossible for me to meet her.
Therefore I realised that the person who I am looking for must be an accepted man of Allah (Az’zawajal) who is living and breathing in the time and age. Thus I travelled to several Masjids’ to learn more about this Attar. Unfortunately for me I only came across those people who were completely against Attar and they opposed Attar. However I didn’t lose hope. Finally after all my inquiring I came to ‘Faizan e Madinah’ (Karachi) and at last came to the quarters of Attar.
In order to be content about Islam I had some questions. After Attar had answered them I was 50% convinced about Islam, but I could not become a Muslim until I was 100% certain. After this Attar and I in our own ways did a Dua (Prayer/Supplication). After listening to Attar’s Dua, which could make even the hardest of hearts crack. I could not hold back my tears; the light of Imaan (Faith/Belief) had been instilled into my heart.
My wife and I at once accepted Islam on the hands of Attar. He then gave us our Islamic names.

The former priest carried and on explained that in my dream I was told that one of the amazing attributes of Attar would be that he will never raise his gaze, he will always have his gaze lowered. In order to test him I had brought my wife and made her sit by my side right in front of Attar. Nevertheless he never raised his gaze. In a meeting which lasted two and a half hours I never saw Him or even his young son Hajji Ahmad Raza raise their eyes and look at me or my wife. During my investigation when I went to other people (those that opposed Attar) I realised that they were looking remarkably at my young wife more than they were looking at me.
I had another wife at home and a friend who I wanted to bring into Islam. Attar sent his son Hajji Ahmad Raza along with me to revert them.
I am exceedingly thankful to Allah (Az’zawajal) that my two (2) wives and my 3 young children have accepted Islam, and are fully convinced.
