This is a beautiful article you might like to read:

JazakAllah khair Sidi for the beautiful article, may Allah Ta'ala shower His special mercy on you Ameen. Sidi, I think this was before Hazrat Noor-ud-Din Zaan'gi (r.a) time. I believe that Hazrat (r.a) instructed for pillars to be made around the Roza Shareef both under ground and above ground so nobody could go near the Blessed Grave Mubarak. Then underground lead was poured to make it solid.

I could be wrong but this is well known.

Allah Ta'ala and His Rasool SalAllahu Alayhi Wassalam know best.

Bismillahirahmaaniraheem

I have not heard about the pillars but I have regarding the wall made of brass copper and lead. This was as you stated a underground protection from any tunneling. A question comes to my mind would this wall be effective in todays age of laser technology ?

Jazak Allah Khairan

Salam Alaikum,
I am a long time reader of the forums but a first time poster. I recite durood shareef in large numbers and I want to increase it inshallah. I wanted to know if this is allowed.

My father is great friends with a care taker of our nabi pak (Peace and blessings upon Him) corners, i.e. resting place. They clean up and change the cloth on the holy grave in a given time. My father a couple of years back, over 10 years, was given two small pieces of cut pieces of the cloth. I would like to know if it would be allowed to recite durood shareed upon it. It is dark green with he corners with gold strings. Hand stitched design. It is beautiful and I kiss is all the time and have it in a case with I clean only with zam zam.

Please help me find the answer and keep me in your duas. I will keep all of you and if I am allowed to make dua upon it please pm me your name with a dua and I will keep you in my duas inshallah.

Jazakallah

I thought nobody could go near the Kabar Mubarak as their are two walls before it (as well as very very thick blessed cloths) and their are also very large poles surrounding the blessed Roza Shareef which prevents people going anywhere near the blessed Kabar Mubarak.

Yaa Allah forgive me if im wrong.

I was also thinking the same. According to my knowledge no one can go near the Kabar-e-Arsh Makan, Sarkar-e-Doo Jahan (Sallallahu Alieh Wassalam). Allah (Azzawajal) knows best.

Few years back i met a person in Jeddah who himself met a mason, entered in Roza-e-Aqdas (Sallallahu Alieh Wasalam) in early 70’s. According to him there are several steps down to the Kabar Mubbarak inside the Hujjra Mubbarak and Hujjra Mubbarak was full with foggy light (Noor) and he couldn’t see the Kabar Mubarak.  My body shivered twice while remembering and writing this. Allah (Azzawajal) knows best.

Me nor my father know the age of the blessed cloth. He said when the man gave it he wept as if he was going to pass. He told my father over and over May Allah ta'la bless you, May Allah ta'la, May Allah ta'la bless you. When it was placed in my fathers hands he wept and the care taker put his hands to his face and started to weep. If you do look at the cloth it looks like a corner piece. Green in the middle with gold stitching to the side. When my father showed it to me, it was inside a small folder within a cloth, within a metal or steel case.

I took it and made a small case for it, so no dust particles can get to it. I cleaned the case with zam zam and continued to recite durood shareef in a loud tone. My father assisted me in the task. Next to it I put a small piece of cloth from the Kaba Shareef. They were obtained both at the same time (I believe, I will double check).

I closed the case and cleaned the outside of it with zam zam.

When I opened the metal container, opened the cloth, took it out of the folder(which is made out of leather) a aroma hit my face with great force. Something I never smelled before, it was pleasant, beautiful, tasteful and something I wish I would smell like all the time. Tears did flow but I held strong to continue my task. The case is not powerful, I will continue to do work on it(bottom and side portion). The case is kept with a fancy dresser where other religious stuff are. Such as replicas of the Door of Nabi Pak(Peace and blessings upon him), Quranic verses, and etc.

Allah azwajalla knows best, the authenticity of the blessed cloth.

I do not know if it is allowed but is taking a picture of it and uploading it to you guys allowed? I have never done this but if is permissible I will only do it this one time.

I think it's a great idea! There's a picture of the green dome in the corner over there, so if that's allowed then why not a picture of this blessed cloth?

"There are different narrations of the order and layout of the graves of Prophet Muhammad (salAllahu alayhi wasallam) and his two companions (r.a.) resting in the Sacred Chamber... In 91H, Omar ibn Abdul Aziz (r.a) built these 5 cornered walls around the inner four walls of the Sacred Chamber so that nobody may enter the Sacred Chamber. These outer walls are about seven metres high and are covered by a cloth. (IE a pentagon shape around a square shape that is the innermost part of the sacred chamber) These days this outer structure is called the Sacred Chamber. Samhoudi said: "The outer walls were made with five corners instead of four, so that the Sacred Chamber does not resemble the Kabah." .....In 1296H, a screen of a window fell inside the Sacred Chamber. Burzanji went, with the Imam of the Prophet's Mosque, on the roof of the mosque. They saw that there was an inner smaller dome. The inner Sacred Chamber was a square structure covered with a cloth. Hence it was not possible to see inside the Sacred Chamber enclosed by the four walls"

(Difference of opinion regarding position of the blessed graves themselves)
This is a sketch on paint...

I was of the same opinion, I don't think anyone in recent history has had the privelege of being present in front of the actual resting place of Our Beloved Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam. I was told there are at least two walls beyond the grills and that no one in recent times has been beyond the first of these walls.

Not sure how accurate the diagram is below:

I have taken the picture but it is not letting me upload because it says it exceeds the space. Can I email it to someone so they can fix this problem. I am not too computer friendly when reducing pictures and such. PM me your email or you can post it here.

I have put it as a attachment, everyone can go there to see it. I learned how to crop a picture, finally! The black piece is from Kaaba Shareef, where it dangles. The two green cloths are from the coverings of the Holy Resting Place of the Prophet Muhammad(Peace and Blessings Upon Him). I think now we can look deeper into the situation, the picture isn't too clear because it is wrapped in plastic within a case, so no dust can get into it.

I did not intentionally set it up this way to make a design of a crescent moon, it just simply happened on it's own. You can see the gold stitching on the side of one and a little bit of the other. The green side is very soft while the other side is pretty thick and well not too rough and not too soft.
