What do you guys think of Ummah Channel? they done the opening on Saturday, and Sunday they put up test transmission on again. What is really going on? is this channel going to be like other Islamic televisions?
Why all our channels come on air without having any contents? i think these channels be focused on theire programmes rather than bebegginghope Ummah dont do same as others.
I was searching about Ummah Channel and discovered that Ummah Channel launched instead the launch of UK Asia TV. I was amazed.
There are so many shia and wahabi channels these days. Wahabis are working very hard and very much delivering quality programmes to brain wash people. we need a proper tv channel managed by proper media people not by the cowboys, these days i've noticed those who got the money instead opening fast food food take away they are launching tv channels without having any programmes. what a joke. i think they all are jokers they should deliver the quality programmes. what do you guys say?

To run a 24 hour TV Channel with quality programmes is very difficult indeed. You need to have a combination of things. First and foremost is good Ulama with authentic knowledge. Secondly, you need people who understand the environment and audience so that you can provide them with programmes that meet the needs and desires of the day, the channel cannot be out of touch. A good management team is needed who can organise programmes for 24 hours as well finding ways to bring money in to fund the channel. Also, you need technical experts, especially in the field of computer/broadcast graphics who can provide good and professional presentations, clips, intros, promos and so on.If a channel can combine these things then it is on its way to success.

Yes brother you are rite that it takes a lot effort. By looking at Ummah Channel promo's I was sure this channel will be the best Islamic channel we can ever have. after its official launch i'm very much dissappointed. Very poor productions and having no programmes to broadcast. They all same have no ideas of running tv channels. [size=3][/size]
