Same here. Because i believe i don't have alot of knowledge of Islam, i'd rather not participate in some topics in case i say something completely wrong. This forum has become a site where i can learn from other people's knowledge so thanks for that! In terms of creating a new topic, some questions, issues i want resolved or help have been provided previously so i check out older posts.
Welcome to the darkside
I can't understand this sudden wave of discomfort about moderators when this community has existed for so many years. Why is the mentioned topic so important to you? What are you trying to achieve and which part of your communication has been hampered. Please elaborate.....
Classification of this community is not up for a referendum.

I can't understand this sudden wave of discomfort about moderators when this community has existed for so many years.
Once one starts showing disagreement about a moderator/s, another gets courage to do the same and so now there is a sudden wave with people displaying their disagreements about the moderators and their moderating. Alhamdulillah I think we have got some excellent moderators on board. Of course, there are always going to be a minority now and then who don't agree with the decisions moderators may take so don't worry about it brother.
Didn't want to achieve anything, just wanted a reply and now you've given me one. Don't really need to elaborate, if you read it you'd understand. I haven't got a sudden discomfort for moderators, just contributing. What's worg with a bit of constructive feedback. Chill out.
Yeah I see where you're coming from... NOT! It's got nothing to do with courage or a "sudden wave"!?!? I can see what you're indirectly trying to imply though. You want them to stamp "it" (whatever "it " is) out before "it" grows. I really think you're taking a very childish role in this.

If you have already made your point and there is nothing more to add then I don't see why you should be annoyed by the thread being locked.
Even though people policing this space have done that for YEARS, it is of course impossible to remain 100% impartial all the time. Our personal preferences is naturally a part of the decision making and yes, it can sometimes be unjustified.
Dimensions of a diverse community as ours are no different from realties of real life. You can't expect everyone to be nice, you can't expect everyone to understand and share your passion. Disagreement and arguments is a natural phoneme amongst people who share and discuss elements of interest. I think it's unfair to hold whole community as hostage just because of arguments with particular users.
Just some days ago I got a pm from an old member saying: Today is my last day on YaNabi.com. As usual some days later I see him participating as before. Sometimes people are provoked into doing something they normally wouldn't do. Let's all us keeping mind the human element even though we can't see the person behind the keyboard.
