I have been aproached recently by GCHQ to work for them .
i am a bit worried as to whether working for them equates to apostasy or treachery.
Please advise

Oh by the way i personally dont think there's nothing wrong in working for them as i haven't come across anything from an Islamic point of view to go against this job however others may disagree.
Looks like that slap from the Imam Saab got you a promotion. Dont take that too serious Abdul Qalam. LOL

Dude, listen, you need to start running your stories through me if you want to make them plausible. Even Macdonalds don't approach people to work for them.
This may be some kind of method of yours to elicit answers to questions you may have, but creating these fables is not the right way to go about it.
Please tell me more about how they approached you and how they knew of you. Also, you claim to read 5 books a month, yet can't find the answer to a question such as this. They must really have lowered their standards for PHd's.

Are you sure about both highlighted part that you have been "approached" by them and that you are a "Doctor"?
