Need islamic advice

i am a new member to this site however i have been reading topics, questions & answers on this site for quite a while now. i am amazed by the amount of knowledge some people have mashallah.

The reason i decided to come forward was to increase my knowledge in islam but also to get a few answers to some of my questions...

I'm inshallah planning to get married to this guy who alhumdulillah is a practising muslim. However, he decided to be honest with me and wanted to tell me about his past, so he did. he told me some years ago he did commit the major sin of fornication. at first for some reason i didnt think that much of it as i believe everyone makes mistakes but now come to think of it, it really bothers me. but i feel bad, because i know the past belongs in the past, he's practising now, prays 5times, reads quran regularly & inshallah is planning to go on umrah mashallah. i know we r all human and we commit sin, but how am i to know he has repented without asking him and if he has, is it true that when you repent, Allah forgives inshallah but does that also mean it's like you never committed the sin in the first place?

maybe i am reading too much into this, but i can't help how i feel about it. However he is of good character and reasonable standard of deen. I remember once watching an Islamic programme on tv, the sheikh said that 'the greatest gift a husband can give to his wife is his virginity' and vice versa....so i guess after hearing that, it's made me think twice.

i know it might seem like i'm picking on something small, but to me it's important.
i will be grateful for any advice given

CHAKWAL is a beautiful and historic city in the Northern punjab, it can be compared to Multan because of similarity that both cities are very fertile in producing Saints who gave a rise to the sinking ship of Islam in every era.
SARKAL MAIR is a beautiful village under the cool shadows of Salt range, it was founded in 1710 by Pir Ruken-ud-Din Shah, a famous saint from the generation of Hashim Abdul-Manaf who was the Father of Hazrat Abdul-Mutlib (Grand father of Holy Prophet). He started to live in Sarkal.
In his(pir Ruken-ud-din's) 4th generation, Pir Madad Ali Shah choose Police as a profession ensuring that the blood of Brave Hashmis is in his body. From there afterwards the persons of this family remain in law enforcement agencies and all at high posts.
In 1981, I was born at the home of Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah (40th generation of Hashim Abdul-Manaf).
I brought up under the shadow of my pious and diciplined parents and grandparents, who polished my skills and character to be an active and useful member of the society. I was blessed with a stunning and heart touching voice, but it was the fruit of the good guardianship of my parents that instead of following the trend of being a singer, I decided to recite Naats.
My first album was released in 2001,with the title " Me Jo Yu Madeenay Jata" .This decission really started the showers of blessing of ALLAH on me as firstly I offer HAJJ in 2005, and also deified that my Nikah sermon was deciphered under the holy shadows of GUNBAD-E-KHAZRAH (Masjid-e-Nabwi). Second album was released in 2005 just before Hajj Baitullah's Departure, with the title "Allah-o-Akbar", In 2009 I offered Umrah Alhamdolillah, and also another album, "Ghar Madeenay Me Banana Chahta Hoo" was released. I have attended Mehfils almost all over the country.
I am also a poet , Working on my first book consisting of Naats and ghazals . I am a Software Engineer by a profession, also the father of a 2 year child Syed Muhammad Hyaim Ali, who will be another Tayyab for my family (Insha Allah).
Now a days I am working on my fourth album, which will be released soon, INSHA ALLAH.

Islamic Names:

Islamic names are basically the collection of the Arabic, Persian, Turkish and Urdu names. The majority of Muslim names are included in these languages. Muslim names have unique and decent meanings.

Birth of a new baby is a gift, and blessing of Allah, for the parents. Parent can share their pleasure by giving their kid a beautiful Islamic name. Being a Muslim one should keep in mind that the name of a Muslim baby must be meaning full. Muslims of the world have the distinction in every field of life. Muslims can be recognized by their unique and unusual names from other nations. For Muslims it is very important to give their child a beautiful, meaningful name. The biggest collection of the Islamic names comes from Arabic Language.

Arabic historically is a very important language. It is the language of more than two hundred million people. Arabic is the official language of almost all the countries of central East. Some of the African countries adapted the Arabic as the official language as well. Arabic is also among the official language of United Nations Organization. Prophet Muhammad (SAW) taught to his followers that children should be given good names. These good meaningful names are differently and beautifully meant in different languages, like Persian, Turkish, and Urdu besides Arabic.

Children must be given popular and meaningful names which could not be abused. Another beautiful collection of the Islamic names is available in Persian. Persian Gulf including Iran is using Persian as official language from centuries. Persian was also the language of the ruler of sub-continent of Indo Pak. People in the old Hindustan, and Afghanistan were using the Persian names along with Arabic. Psychologists now concluded that a person’s name has effects on his life.

Urdu language is also a very vastly spoken language. Urdu language is considered as the Islamic language, it also has a very vast collection of the Islamic names. Urdu language is a derivative of the Persian, Arabic, and Turkish language. Urdu language has the tendency of absorption the other language words in it.

Arabic, Persian, and Urdu languages have the similar ideography. Most of the Urdu names have the similar meanings in Arabic, Persian, or Turkish. Another aspect of a person’s name is that it bespeaks a person’s religion. Hence the name of a Muslim is usually of such a nature that by the mere mention of it, the listener understands that the person so addressed, is a Muslim. It is for this reason that our elders laid great emphasis on keeping good and pleasant names. Islamic Names, includes Islamic names for boys, Islamic names for girls, Islamic Arabic names, Islamic Persian names, Islamic Turkish names, Islamic Urdu names, Meanings of names, historically affiliated names, Allah’s names, and Prophet’s names.

Iv'e come across this site and newly registered and would like to make a general comment..

It's dissapointing to read some of the secterian stuff that people come out with, mostly out of ignorance.
People clearly use incorrect statements to justify their viewpoint especially regarding the age old braily/deoband issue. Some even go as far to label websites as definitely 'not deobandi'...for example sunnipath..whereas the reality is that authentic scholars are wise enough to know the truth and explain things accordingly..in fact some of the best answers to sectarian issues are found on that site...
some ppl persist in creating a division when in reality there isn't one..it's as if they need an enemy to find a meaning to their existence? they take things which are permissible actions and turn them into essential articles of faith without which the other persons 'aqeeda' is deficient...when in reality the tahawi-sunni creed is quite simple..spking as a layperson ...say on the issue of 'knowledge of the unseen'....there is no division as both parties accept that knowledge (seen/unseen) was given to the Prophet(sallalu-alayhi-wasalam) by Allah almighty...so where's the rift?
other issues are similar...I write this because ppl claim 'this is what they believe'..when its not the case-

Will all Misguided Muslims (or deviant sects) eventually enter Heaven?

Only Ahle Sunnah W'al Jamat is the correct and saved group and is a Jannati sect. The other sects will enter Jahanam (correct me if I'm incorrect anywhere).

Am I correct in saying that the misguided sects or Misguided Muslims are still also the Ummah or part of Muslim Ummah? If yes, then does that mean once Misguided Muslims or misguided sects have served their time in Hell, they will then enter Heaven like the rest of Sunni Muslims? Please help me think 'right' and straight on this issue or confusion.

But hypocrites people are something different from Misguided Muslims, are they? And/or are there hypocrites amongst misguided Muslims too who may remain in Hell whislt other misguided Mulims will enter Heaven after serving their time in Hell?

Feedback will be most welcome.

My arm is sprained. Please make du'a

Dear brothers and sisters,

Yesterday I slipped on ice (or black ice) and have sprained my left arm. The pain was very severe. When I fell on the road and hit my arm on the ground, the experience was really bad and I felt as if my arm or elbows may have broken or become loose. I have been to Hospital and had it checked. Luckily the x-ray showed no bones were broken but that it caused a sprain. I was made to wear a sling (white cloth) and have been prescribed Ibuprofen pain killers. I am now off from work also for a number of days.

There is little movement in my left arm but it is getting better and its better than yesterday. But I am still feeling the sprain and cannot move my left arm and wrist very much.

I thank Allah for saving me from having further injury. And I thank Allah for giving me the tofeek to get to the hospital and to have my arm checked and been given appropriate advice and medication.

Please pray for me dear people and make a dua to Allah for the Prophet's (SAW) sake that I get shifa and my arm recovers as quickly as possible. Thank you all.

If anyone has any advice or suggestion how I could recover my sprained-arm, please let me know. I've massaged my arm using Vicks VapoRub cream. Should I also use some Asian hair oil and massage that into my arm too which I haven't tried?

Within the reality of the condition of the Ummah (Muslim Population), here in the U.S. or abroad, he realized that he has a duty and a job in front of Allah, so that when he goes to the grave, he can say to Allah:

"I tried to convey and live your message, and spread it to the maximum of my ability. I tried to address the message to the most of my ability and understanding, in the middle of the absence of Khalifah (Muslim Head of State), the absence of Shari'ah (i.e. Islamic Law), the absence of Unity, and the absence of the reality of Islam."

In a time during attacks against Islam, from inside and out, by us, or others (attacks through innovation, new ideology and groups).

"These groups are fighting over differences in fiqh (regulations) which already exist in the history of Islam, and forget the message, the duty, love of Allah, love of the Rasul (sallallahu alaiyhi wa sallam – peace be upon him). They forget about loving Islam, about being merciful to mankind, and forget our duty and noble cause that the one Allah has given to us already."

They forgot our history of Iraq, Tatar, and Mongolia. We forget the history of Andalusia, the Ottoman Empire.

"And we forget Allah. Therefore, Allah has made us forget ourselves."

I believe I am the poor to Allah, Ahmed Moait, I have a message to Muslims and Non-Muslims, to all mankind:

"Wake up before it's too late. My message is very simple, we have to embrace Islam, Muslim and non-Muslim. We have to go back to the base, we have to understand, acknowledge, and develop the belief and the Oneness of Allah, the Creator, and the Almighty."

We have to develop ubudiyya (slavery to Allah), and Rububiyya (realizing Allah is the Governor, Controller, and Provider) with all the names of Allah in reality- Not in the tongue, in a speech or on the internet.

And we have to set the role model and feel responsible, so that when you die, you can say, "Allah I tried my best, with my body, my time and my money, with my love, my devotion, and my thinking. That's my goal, my aim, my job and my duty, the one which Allah has honored me with and has already given to me."

You might have some question about his background, who's the teacher that influenced him in his life.

I have many, but one Sheikh advised me,

"If you want to be a Da'ee today, don't mention names. The moment you mentions names, one group will like you and one group will hate you. It will become a battle against the name and people will forget the message."

If you fear Allah, if you love Allah, and if you believe in Allah, listen and try to benefit yourself.

I'm a human being, I'm carrying a message. I have my goodness, I have my weakness, I have my faults, I have my mistakes, and I have my sins. May Allah forgive me and forgive all of us. Please, if you want to benefit yourself, listen with your heart and try to see what this man has to say.

Forget about everything, forget about his language, his mistakes, and his pronunciation, this is not the time for that now. It's the time to call Allah, before it's too late. But we must go back to the history.

May Allah guide us to the straight path, may Allah give us Light, Basira (vision), Wisdom, Comprehension, Understanding, Sincerity, Truthfulness, and the ability to see what's right and what's wrong. He's the only One who can do that.

If you want to know whether what I'm saying has goodness or not, call Allah and ask Him. If I’m wrong, may Allah forgive me, I only try. Whatever I do right, may Allah make it only for Him and reward me in this life and the hereafter.

I'm only calling towards Allah, the rest is His business if He wants to accept you and choose you. "Alhamdu'lillahir Rabbil Alameen (Thanks to Allah)".

May Allah the Almighty put Barakah (Blessing) and Noor (Light) and Kabul (Acceptance) in everything we say and we do.
