But I forbid my followers to use (cauterization) branding with fire."&lt;br&gt;[/b]&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Hijama is an Arabic word meaning ‘sucking or vacuum’. Originally Hijama was known as ‘cupping’ because of the use of cups as therapeutic tools. The horn or cup was heated to create a negative pressure and this was mostly used to draw out blood and pus, but later, it was found to be effective in treating other diseases and over time developed into a therapeutic method.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Benefits of Hijama Therapy&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;The strengthening and stimulating effects of Hijama therapy make it successful in treating the following conditions: cellulite, weight loss, fatigue, period pain, constipation and diarrhoea, headaches, back pain, arthritis, injuries, asthma, anaemia, depression and emotional problems, atrophy, sciatica, common cold and flu, skin problems, emotional problems, depression and much more.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Immunity, Detox, Muscles spasms&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Traditional medicine tells us that all pain is due to stagnation of blood and Qi. Further, it would appear as an extension of Freud's “Oedipal” complex, the desire to kill the father, a form of primitive reasoning that occurs between the ages of 3 and 5 in order to fully own the other parent. Instead of physically killing their father, atheists simply want to kill the idea of a heavenly Father. In this case, their atheism is not grounded in good reasoning or even scientific evidence (something atheists seem to demand from others), but on a primitive, childish, irrational compulsion. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;It can be inferred that modern atheism has it's roots in the philosophies of the above-named dysfunctional individuals who had absent, abusive or weak fathers. Interestingly, the same has been said of homosexuality. The above named pillars of atheism of the last 4 centuries exemplify how psychoanalysis is a better explanation for atheism than reason and rationality. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Does this mean that atheists today, or all atheists, are irrational or that atheism is irrational? No. What it means is, the claim that belief in god, gods or God is irrational does not fit the data, especially since most normal theists are not dysfunctional and do not demonstrate latent Oedipal complexes. Belief in a god, gods or God has been normative and a characteristic of what it means to be human, and in many cases occurs in people who come to that conclusion based on sound reasoning. I have called you together because Tameem al-Daari was a Christian and he came, swore allegiance and became Muslim, and told me something which conforms with what I had told you about the Dajjaal. He told me that he sailed in a ship with thirty men of Lakhm and Judhaam and they were tossed by the waves of the sea for a month. Then they arrived at an island just as the sun was setting. They boarded a small rowing-boat and reached the island. They were met by a beast whose body was covered by so much of hair that they could not distinguish his front from his back.&lt;br&gt;They said: ‘Woe to you, what are you?’&lt;br&gt;It said: ‘I am al-Jassaasah.’&lt;br&gt;They asked: ‘What is al-Jassaasah?’&lt;br&gt;It said: ‘O people, go to this man in the monastery for he is keen to know about you.’&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;The narrator says: ‘When it took the name of a man before us we were afraid that it might be a Shaitaan (devil) so we quickly left until we entered the monastery, where we found the biggest man we had ever seen. He was bound strongly in chains. His hands were tied to his neck and his legs bound from the knees to the ankles with iron chains.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;We said: ‘Woe to you, who are you?’&lt;br&gt;He said: ‘You will soon find out about me. Tell me who you are.’&lt;br&gt;They replied: ‘We are Arabs who had set sail on a ship, but the sea became wild and the waves tossed us about for one month. Then they brought us to this island of yours. We used rowing-boats and landed on this island. We were met by a beast with a great deal of hair. He was so hairy that his front could not be made out from his back. We said: ‘Woe to you, what are you?’ It said: ‘I am al-Jassaasah.’ We said: ‘What is al-Jassaasah?’ It said: ‘Go to this man in the monastery for he is keen to know about you.’ So we came rushing to you and we fled from it because we could not be sure that it was not a devil.’&lt;br&gt;He (the chained person) asked: ‘Tell me about the date-palms of Baysaan.’&lt;br&gt;We said: ‘What would you like to know about them?’&lt;br&gt;He said: ‘I am asking you whether these trees bear fruit.’&lt;br&gt;We said: ‘Yes.’&lt;br&gt;He said: ‘Soon they will not bear fruit.’&lt;br&gt;He then said: ‘Tell me about the lake of Tabariyyah’&lt;br&gt;We said: ‘What would you like to know about it?’&lt;br&gt;He said: ‘Is there water in it?’&lt;br&gt;They said: ‘There is a great deal of water in it.’&lt;br&gt;He said: ‘Soon it will dry up.’&lt;br&gt;Then he said: ‘Tell me about the spring of Zughar (which is in the south of Syria).’&lt;br&gt;They said: ‘What would you like to know about it?’&lt;br&gt;He said: ‘Is there water in the spring and do the people grow crops with the water of the spring?’&lt;br&gt;We said to him: ‘Yes, there is plenty of water in it and the people grow crops with its water.’&lt;br&gt;He said: ‘Tell me about the Prophet from the unlettered. What has he done?’&lt;br&gt;We said: ‘He has left Makkah and has settled in Yathrib (Madinah).’&lt;br&gt;He said: ‘Do the Arabs fight against him?’&lt;br&gt;We said: ‘Yes.’&lt;br&gt;He said: ‘How did he deal with them?’&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;We told him that he had prevailed over the Arabs in his vicinity and they had become obedient to him.&lt;br&gt;He said to us: ‘Has that really happened to them?’&lt;br&gt;We said: ‘Yes.’&lt;br&gt;He said: ‘If this is so then it is better for them that they show obedience to him. Now I will tell you about myself. I am the Dajjaal and soon I will be given permission to emerge. I will come out and travel in the land, and will I not leave any town without staying for forty nights, except Makkah and Taybah (Madinah). These are both forbidden to me. Each time I will try to enter one of them, I will be confronted by an angel with a sword in his hand, who will stop me from entering. On every route towards each of these two cities there will be angels guarding it.’&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Faatimah Bint Qais says: Then the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam struck the minbar with his staff and said: “This is Taybah, this is Taybah, this is Taybah,” meaning Madinah. “Did I not tell you this before?”&lt;br&gt;The Sahabah answered: ‘Yes.’&lt;br&gt;The Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said: “I liked the story of Tameem because it conforms with what I had told you about him and about Makkah and Madinah. Beware, he is in the Syrian Sea or the Yemeni Sea. No, rather he is in the east, he in the east, he is in the east,” and he pointed towards the east with his hand. Matter &amp; Energy came into existance. Every event that ever took place or will take place, from ground zero onwards, is caused by a fixed pattern of, sequence of collecsions, between atomic/subatmoic particles. &lt;br&gt;For example, hydrogen atoms gathered togather &amp; collided in a cluster. Eventully the bonds and collisions gew so strong that atoms split &amp; fused thus forming stars.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;This collision was not random but followed laws of dynamics after the "first" particles of matter came into existance.  Their motion, direction, speed determined the events that are taking place today and will take place till existance is extinguished.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Amongst all this carefully planned phenominon are humans who have free will to choose. What is choice. A specific pattern of neurons firing electro-chemical discharges, based on the same laws of atmoic/subatomic sciences, which existed from beginning, using previously established bonds (memory/experiance stores in brain in the form for links between neurons).&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Although to us, this product of electro-chemical bahaviour appears to a "choice" that we are making by ourselves. I[b]s it an illusion that we are making the choice or do we determine which neuron spikes at what time, interval or conditions ?[/b]&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;If anyone here has the experiance of a web chat with an AI (Artificial Intellegance) BOT (programs which can chat with people), they will understand what I mean by illusion of intellegence/free will. From the outside, it doesn't look much: in the corner of a field stands an assortment of boxy temporary buildings, from which two long trenches emerge, at a right angle to each other, covered with corrugated iron. Underneath the metal sheets, however, lies a detector that stretches for 600 metres.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;For the past seven years, this German set-up has been looking for gravitational waves - ripples in space-time thrown off by super-dense astronomical objects such as neutron stars and black holes. GEO600 has not detected any gravitational waves so far, but it might inadvertently have made the most important discovery in physics for half a century.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;For many months, the GEO600 team-members had been scratching their heads over inexplicable noise that is plaguing their giant detector. Then, out of the blue, a researcher approached them with an explanation. In fact, he had even predicted the noise before he knew they were detecting it. According to Craig Hogan, a physicist at the Fermilab particle physics lab in Batavia, Illinois, GEO600 has stumbled upon the fundamental limit of space-time - the point where space-time stops behaving like the smooth continuum Einstein described and instead dissolves into "grains", just as a newspaper photograph dissolves into dots as you zoom in. "It looks like GEO600 is being buffeted by the microscopic quantum convulsions of space-time," says Hogan.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;If this doesn't blow your socks off, then Hogan, who has just been appointed director of Fermilab's Center for Particle Astrophysics, has an even bigger shock in store: "If the GEO600 result is what I suspect it is, then we are all living in a giant cosmic hologram."&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;The idea that we live in a hologram probably sounds absurd, but it is a natural extension of our best understanding of black holes, and something with a pretty firm theoretical footing. It has also been surprisingly helpful for physicists wrestling with theories of how the universe works at its most fundamental level.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;The holograms you find on credit cards and banknotes are etched on two-dimensional plastic films. When light bounces off them, it recreates the appearance of a 3D image. In the 1990s physicists Leonard Susskind and Nobel prizewinner Gerard 't Hooft suggested that the same principle might apply to the universe as a whole. Our everyday experience might itself be a holographic projection of physical processes that take place on a distant, 2D surface.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;The "holographic principle" challenges our sensibilities. It seems hard to believe that you woke up, brushed your teeth and are reading this article because of something happening on the boundary of the universe. No one knows what it would mean for us if we really do live in a hologram, yet theorists have good reasons to believe that many aspects of the holographic principle are true.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Susskind and 't Hooft's remarkable idea was motivated by ground-breaking work on black holes by Jacob Bekenstein of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Israel and Stephen Hawking at the University of Cambridge. In the mid-1970s, Hawking showed that black holes are in fact not entirely "black" but instead slowly emit radiation, which causes them to evaporate and eventually disappear. This poses a puzzle, because Hawking radiation does not convey any information about the interior of a black hole. When the black hole has gone, all the information about the star that collapsed to form the black hole has vanished, which contradicts the widely affirmed principle that information cannot be destroyed. This is known as the black hole information paradox.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Bekenstein's work provided an important clue in resolving the paradox. He discovered that a black hole's entropy - which is synonymous with its information content - is proportional to the surface area of its event horizon. This is the theoretical surface that cloaks the black hole and marks the point of no return for infalling matter or light. Theorists have since shown that microscopic quantum ripples at the event horizon can encode the information inside the black hole, so there is no mysterious information loss as the black hole evaporates.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Crucially, this provides a deep physical insight: the 3D information about a precursor star can be completely encoded in the 2D horizon of the subsequent black hole - not unlike the 3D image of an object being encoded in a 2D hologram. Susskind and 't Hooft extended the insight to the universe as a whole on the basis that the cosmos has a horizon too - the boundary from beyond which light has not had time to reach us in the 13.7-billion-year lifespan of the universe. What's more, work by several string theorists, most notably Juan Maldacena at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, has confirmed that the idea is on the right track. He showed that the physics inside a hypothetical universe with five dimensions and shaped like a Pringle is the same as the physics taking place on the four-dimensional boundary.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;According to Hogan, the holographic principle radically changes our picture of space-time. Theoretical physicists have long believed that quantum effects will cause space-time to convulse wildly on the tiniest scales. At this magnification, the fabric of space-time becomes grainy and is ultimately made of tiny units rather like pixels, but a hundred billion billion times smaller than a proton. This distance is known as the Planck length, a mere 10-35 metres. The Planck length is far beyond the reach of any conceivable experiment, so nobody dared dream that the graininess of space-time might be discernable.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;That is, not until Hogan realised that the holographic principle changes everything. If space-time is a grainy hologram, then you can think of the universe as a sphere whose outer surface is papered in Planck length-sized squares, each containing one bit of information. The holographic principle says that the amount of information papering the outside must match the number of bits contained inside the volume of the universe.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Since the volume of the spherical universe is much bigger than its outer surface, how could this be true? Hogan realised that in order to have the same number of bits inside the universe as on the boundary, the world inside must be made up of grains bigger than the Planck length. "Or, to put it another way, a holographic universe is blurry," says Hogan.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;This is good news for anyone trying to probe the smallest unit of space-time. "Contrary to all expectations, it brings its microscopic quantum structure within reach of current experiments," says Hogan. So while the Planck length is too small for experiments to detect, the holographic "projection" of that graininess could be much, much larger, at around 10-16 metres. "If you lived inside a hologram, you could tell by measuring the blurring," he says.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;When Hogan first realised this, he wondered if any experiment might be able to detect the holographic blurriness of space-time. That's where GEO600 comes in.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Gravitational wave detectors like GEO600 are essentially fantastically sensitive rulers. The idea is that if a gravitational wave passes through GEO600, it will alternately stretch space in one direction and squeeze it in another. To measure this, the GEO600 team fires a single laser through a half-silvered mirror called a beam splitter. This divides the light into two beams, which pass down the instrument's 600-metre perpendicular arms and bounce back again. The returning light beams merge together at the beam splitter and create an interference pattern of light and dark regions where the light waves either cancel out or reinforce each other. Any shift in the position of those regions tells you that the relative lengths of the arms has changed.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;"The key thing is that such experiments are sensitive to changes in the length of the rulers that are far smaller than the diameter of a proton," says Hogan.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;So would they be able to detect a holographic projection of grainy space-time? Of the five gravitational wave detectors around the world, Hogan realised that the Anglo-German GEO600 experiment ought to be the most sensitive to what he had in mind. He predicted that if the experiment's beam splitter is buffeted by the quantum convulsions of space-time, this will show up in its measurements (Physical Review D, vol 77, p 104031). "This random jitter would cause noise in the laser light signal," says Hogan.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;In June he sent his prediction to the GEO600 team. "Incredibly, I discovered that the experiment was picking up unexpected noise," says Hogan. GEO600's principal investigator Karsten Danzmann of the Max Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics in Potsdam, Germany, and also the University of Hanover, admits that the excess noise, with frequencies of between 300 and 1500 hertz, had been bothering the team for a long time. He replied to Hogan and sent him a plot of the noise. "It looked exactly the same as my prediction," says Hogan. "It was as if the beam splitter had an extra sideways jitter."&lt;br&gt;Incredibly, the experiment was picking up unexpected noise - as if quantum convulsions were causing an extra sideways jitter&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;No one - including Hogan - is yet claiming that GEO600 has found evidence that we live in a holographic universe. It is far too soon to say. "There could still be a mundane source of the noise," Hogan admits.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Gravitational-wave detectors are extremely sensitive, so those who operate them have to work harder than most to rule out noise. They have to take into account passing clouds, distant traffic, seismological rumbles and many, many other sources that could mask a real signal. "The daily business of improving the sensitivity of these experiments always throws up some excess noise," says Danzmann. "We work to identify its cause, get rid of it and tackle the next source of excess noise." At present there are no clear candidate sources for the noise GEO600 is experiencing. "In this respect I would consider the present situation unpleasant, but not really worrying."&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;For a while, the GEO600 team thought the noise Hogan was interested in was caused by fluctuations in temperature across the beam splitter. However, the team worked out that this could account for only one-third of the noise at most.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Danzmann says several planned upgrades should improve the sensitivity of GEO600 and eliminate some possible experimental sources of excess noise. "If the noise remains where it is now after these measures, then we have to think again," he says.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;If GEO600 really has discovered holographic noise from quantum convulsions of space-time, then it presents a double-edged sword for gravitational wave researchers. One on hand, the noise will handicap their attempts to detect gravitational waves. On the other, it could represent an even more fundamental discovery.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Such a situation would not be unprecedented in physics. Giant detectors built to look for a hypothetical form of radioactivity in which protons decay never found such a thing. Instead, they discovered that neutrinos can change from one type into another - arguably more important because it could tell us how the universe came to be filled with matter and not antimatter (New Scientist, 12 April 2008, p 26).&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;It would be ironic if an instrument built to detect something as vast as astrophysical sources of gravitational waves inadvertently detected the minuscule graininess of space-time. "Speaking as a fundamental physicist, I see discovering holographic noise as far more interesting," says Hogan.&lt;br&gt;Small price to pay&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Despite the fact that if Hogan is right, and holographic noise will spoil GEO600's ability to detect gravitational waves, Danzmann is upbeat. "Even if it limits GEO600's sensitivity in some frequency range, it would be a price we would be happy to pay in return for the first detection of the graininess of space-time." he says. "You bet we would be pleased. It would be one of the most remarkable discoveries in a long time."&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;However Danzmann is cautious about Hogan's proposal and believes more theoretical work needs to be done. "It's intriguing," he says. "But it's not really a theory yet, more just an idea." Like many others, Danzmann agrees it is too early to make any definitive claims. "Let's wait and see," he says. "We think it's at least a year too early to get excited."&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;The longer the puzzle remains, however, the stronger the motivation becomes to build a dedicated instrument to probe holographic noise. John Cramer of the University of Washington in Seattle agrees. It was a "lucky accident" that Hogan's predictions could be connected to the GEO600 experiment, he says. "It seems clear that much better experimental investigations could be mounted if they were focused specifically on the measurement and characterisation of holographic noise and related phenomena."&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;One possibility, according to Hogan, would be to use a device called an atom interferometer. These operate using the same principle as laser-based detectors but use beams made of ultracold atoms rather than laser light. Because atoms can behave as waves with a much smaller wavelength than light, atom interferometers are significantly smaller and therefore cheaper to build than their gravitational-wave-detector counterparts.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;So what would it mean it if holographic noise has been found? Cramer likens it to the discovery of unexpected noise by an antenna at Bell Labs in New Jersey in 1964. That noise turned out to be the cosmic microwave background, the afterglow of the big bang fireball. "Not only did it earn Arno Penzias and Robert Wilson a Nobel prize, but it confirmed the big bang and opened up a whole field of cosmology," says Cramer.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Hogan is more specific. "Forget Quantum of Solace, we would have directly observed the quantum of time," says Hogan. "It's the smallest possible interval of time - the Planck length divided by the speed of light."&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;More importantly, confirming the holographic principle would be a big help to researchers trying to unite quantum mechanics and Einstein's theory of gravity. Today the most popular approach to quantum gravity is string theory, which researchers hope could describe happenings in the universe at the most fundamental level. But it is not the only show in town. "Holographic space-time is used in certain approaches to quantising gravity that have a strong connection to string theory," says Cramer. "Consequently, some quantum gravity theories might be falsified and others reinforced."&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Hogan agrees that if the holographic principle is confirmed, it rules out all approaches to quantum gravity that do not incorporate the holographic principle. Conversely, it would be a boost for those that do - including some derived from string theory and something called matrix theory. "Ultimately, we may have our first indication of how space-time emerges out of quantum theory." I have grown to believe that I am a muslim 'cause I was born one. With all the justifications that I might find for Islam's supremacy I would have done so for any religion or belief I was born with. &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size=3 face="Courier New"&gt;Marx said that religion is 'opium of the people'. As legit said in another thread it is our self-conciousness. Religion is a man's understanding, a man who either has not found himself yet or has lost himself during the journey of his life. So it leaves me hopeless because if I fear and cannot jump over my so-called boundaries how honest I am to myself as an individual. Then, is God capable of creating a stone that even HE himself cannot lift? Install your feet firmly on the ground as though a nail has been driven into it. Let your one jaw of teeth rest firmly on the other jaw. Keep an eye on the rear of your enemy. Enter the battle with firm determination that you have sold your head to God. With all this, always think that success lies in the hands of God. Above all never raise your hand against the sick, women, the aged, and children. Even if they abuse you, it behooves you to give them refuge. Never mutilate the limbs of the enemy or any other person. Give decent burial to the dead bodies of your enemies."&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt; &lt;br&gt;Instructions to the Generals of the border forces&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Ali issued the following instructions to the Generals of the forces in operation in the border areas: "It is the duty of the Officer Commanding that if he has attained a high office, he should not thereby change his attitude to his subordinates. On the other hand, the greater the bounties that God has conferred on him, the greater should be his kindness to the people under his charge. It is your right on me that, except for war, I should not keep any secrets from you. It is incumbent on me that but for the matters enjoined by the Shariah, I should consult you in all affairs of the State, and should not deprive you of any of your right. If I protect your rights, it is obligatory on you that you should obey me, and should not hesitate to respond to my call for action. Do not be overawed by the difficulties that stand in the way of the vindication of Truth. If you do not act accordingly, you will lower yourself in my estimation, and you will be liable to be called to account for your lapse. You will have to face punishment on that score. Take note that I will not spare you, and will not allow you any concession. As I deal with you, you should in turn deal with your subordinates on similar lines. Such mutual understanding will keep the affairs in order."  &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt; &lt;br&gt;Treatment for the rebels&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Ali issued the following instructions to a General in the matter of the treatment to be accorded to rebels: "If the rebels repent and return to obedience, then accept their repentance and do not be harsh with them. If they persist in their revolt, and are not prone to listen to reason, then suppress them with the aid of the people who are loyal to you. See that you depend only on these people who are sincere to you. Do not care for those who are in different. It is better not to own a person who is not with you whole-heartedly. It is better that such men should remain sitting and should not stand up."  &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt; &lt;br&gt;Instruction to the army&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Ali issued the following instructions to the army: "When you camp in the battlefield, your camp should be at the base of a mountain, a hillock, or on the bank of a rivet or canal, so that this may insure your safety. Post guards at the top of the mountain, hillock or any other strategic place, so that the enemy may not attack you while you are unaware. Keep in mind that the vanguard of the force and its scouts are like the eyes and ears of a person. Make suitable arrangements for securing intelligence. See that there is no disunity in your ranks. When you are in camp, or on the march, behave as one body. Make proper arrangements for watch and ward during nights. Your guardsmen should remain alert. You should be watchful even in your sleep, and you should wake up and take up arms at the slightest indication of danger."  &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt; &lt;br&gt;Strategy for crisis&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;In the case of a crisis, Ali laid down the following strategy to be adopted: "If in a battle there is a critical time, and you have to fall back, do not forget to make such retreat a step for attacking the enemy again with redoubled force. Do not lose heart. Be stout hearted. Be prepared. Keep swords ready. Suppress voices. Maintain silence for that is the way to overcome a crisis."  &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt; &lt;br&gt;Prayers of Ali&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;When starting operations in a battle, Ali would pray to God in the following terms: "O God, our hearts are inclined to You. These two answers gave me satisfaction to my question or concern. He loved the 4th wife the most and adorned her with rich robes and treated her to the finest of delicacies. He gave her nothing but the best. He also loved the 3rd wife very much and was always showing her off to neighboring kingdoms. However, he feared that one day she would leave him for another. He also loved his 2nd wife. She was his confidant, and was always kind, considerate and patient with him. Whenever the King faced a problem, he could confide in her, and she would help him get through the difficult times. &lt;BR&gt;&lt;BR&gt;The King's 1st wife was a very loyal partner and had made great contributions in maintaining his wealth and kingdom. However, he did not love the first wife. Although she loved him deeply, he hardly took notice of her! One day, the King fell ill and he knew his time was short. He thought of his luxurious life and wondered, "I ! now have four wives with me, but when I die, I'll be all alone."Thus, he asked the 4th wife, "I have loved you the most, endowed you with the finest clothing and showered great care over you. Now that I'm dying, will you follow me and keep me company?" &lt;BR&gt;&lt;BR&gt;"No way!", replied the 4th wife, and she walked away without another word. Her answer cut like a sharp knife right into his heart. &lt;BR&gt;&lt;BR&gt;The sad King then asked the 3rd wife, "I have loved you all my life. Now that I'm dying, will you follow me and keep me company?" "No!", replied the 3rd wife. "Life is too good! When you die, I'm going to remarry!" His heart sank and turned cold.&lt;BR&gt;&lt;BR&gt;He then asked the 2nd wife, "I have always turned to you for help and you've always been there for me. When I die, will you follow me and keep me company?" "I'm sorry, I can't help you out this time!", replied the 2nd wife. "At the very most, I can only send you to your grave." Her answer came like a bolt of lightning, and the King was devastated.&lt;BR&gt;&lt;BR&gt;Then a voice called out: "I'll leave with you and follow you no matter where you go." The King looked up, and there was his first wife. She was so skinny as she suffered from malnutrition and neglect. Greatly grieved, the King said, "I should have taken much better care of you when I had the chance!" &lt;BR&gt;&lt;BR&gt;In truth, we all have 4 wives in our lives: Our 4th wife is our body. No matter how much time and effort we lavish in making it look good, it will leave us when we die.&lt;BR&gt;&lt;BR&gt;Our 3rd wife is our possessions, status and wealth. When we die, it will all go to others. &lt;BR&gt;&lt;BR&gt;Our 2nd wife is our family and friends. No matter how much they have been there for us, the furthest they can stay by us is up to the grave. &lt;BR&gt;&lt;BR&gt;And our 1st wife is our Soul. Often neglected in pursuit of wealth, power and pleasures of the world.
