These are the original pages printed in 1805, and NOT a reprint. This narrative is from a rare multi-volume geographical and scientific journal titled "Allgemeine Geographische Ephemeriden", which issued fifty volumes from 1798-1816 and which encompassed critical contemporary topics of geography and astronomy. Adam Christian Gaspari and Franz Xaver von Zach were editors of this important scientific journal.

Pictures of and Info on Dome of the Rock and al-Masjid al-Aqsa?

as-salamu 'alaykum and may this post find you in the best of health and iman.

Does anyone have a picture of the holy sanctuary in Jeruslam. I want one showing the whole precinct so that both masjids within the haram can be seen and that it gives a reflection of how far apart they are.

Note: The whole of the haram is referred to as al-Masjid al-Aqsa and this includes the Dome of the Rock (al-Masjid al-Sakhra) as well as Masjid of Aqsa itself (pictured below):

Upsetting accusations from non-Muslims

i was on youtube earlier and i came across non-muslims insulting Islam and our Beloved Nabi. i respect every single religion on this planet, and found it extremely difficult to just ignore it even though i didn't know what to say.

it just upset me so much.. the kind of rubbish they say about our Belobed Aaqa (s.a.w) makes me so angry.

they always have the same 3 points to make:

1. why did Rasulallah (s.a.w) marry Hazrat Aisha - they have an obsession with this point!!!

2. why does Islam give husbands the right to hit their wives?

3. why does the Holy Quran speak of killing infidels so many times?

and no matter how you try to explain to these wretched people, they just don't listen!!

sorry, i don't really have a point.. just really annoyed/angry/upset!

We lived in Kremenchug, and have now got over in suburb of Kiev. In this connection, as well as the majority, had some financial difficulties. Whether therefore I wished you to ask-not you will prompt, how and where it is possible былобы? insha'aLLAH to borrow the small sum of money so that it did not contradict norms of an islam. Return I, by means of the Allah, guarantee, all I shall issue officially. I do not know only how to act truly, to go on the resolved way. Please, prompt. Probably, someone had a similar experience of loans private persons, either credits, or contracts with legal persons.... In a life and so it is enough харама also it would not be desirable, that arrangement of my life and training of children was based on money not approved by Islamic laws. Thankful in advance to you for the help and any information.

Looking for a thought-proviking quote for islamic centre window

Assalamu alaikum

We are in the the process of changing the frontage of our islamic centre and we were trying to come up with a short phrase/quote (about 5-10 words) to put in one of the windows to attract the attention of non-muslims walking/driving past, as the centre is located on a busy main road in a predominately white area.

Any suggestions?
